Wisest way to spend money post-sear

I got a lvl 12+ W/Mo character, with which I did pretty much everything there was possibly to do pre-searing. After lots of fun and showoff, it's time to move on.

I got about 12K total in cash on my guy. I could either bring it as is, or buy dyes pre-sear with hope of selling them for more post-sear (if you think I should, please tell me average dye prices post-sear).

From experience, I know that, upon coming to a new and unknown to me area, it's extremely easy to sink very large amounts of gold that I was saving for a lot of time, and not get much in return.

I obviously don't expect to get top-of-the-line post-sear stuff for 12K, but I do want to spend it in the best way possible, and not be ripped off.

Please advice me on best way to do so for a Warrior/Monk.

Just go to post sear and do every mission and dont sell crafting materials

Buy a good hammer (or sword or whatever) and the best armor from Corwen in Ascalon city. AL is 50 and it'll last you a long time. Save your money for the really good armor end game. Money isn't a huge issue. I average 300-400 per mission on pickups and selling to merchants.

I wouldn't risk going for a dye investment. Dye Traders are selling it for less and less recently, and you might find it very difficult to sell to players. The best armor you'll be able to get right out of pre-searing (not the best post-searing by any means) will barely put a dent in your 12000, and will last you long enough to be worth it. Just don't dye it or anything. THAT'S a waste of money. Wait until your have the last armor you'll get before dumping money into looking awesome.

Yeah lol, beleive it or not I actually had dyed my entire warrior armor (5 pieces) in BLACK dye. Waste of money eh? I got a bunch of dyes too including 1 black left. I might sell my existing armor in pre-sear for 1-2K as a set if I find a buyer...

Yes you can sell your armor... Just not to other players... And of course... You can't sell your starter armor. It's worth 0 gold.
