Whenever i see a ranger spike team in HA, or even in gvg, i notice the difference in the secondary skills of the rangers. Ive searched through a whole lot of of old posts on this forum but couldnt actually find something.
Can ayone tell me the extra (secondary?) skills that are being used?
As far as i know a spike build is somethin like this
read the wind
dual shot
punishing shot (or quick shot)
savage shot
whirling defence
spirit
rez sig

Is it possible to use Quick Shot as your elite instead of Punishing Shot, and to substitute in Distracting Shot for Whirling Defenses...
Basically: Is Quick Shot Spam>Punishing Shot
or is it Punishing Shot>Quick Shot Spam
...I was thinking Quick Shot spam + Dual Shot
...or would it just be better to swap Savage Shot for Distracting Shot?
**My Build** (I generally change around some of the skills based on who's in RA at the time...one time had a lot of IW Warriors and had to pack Shatter Enchantment/Inspired Enchantment):
Punishing Shot (for all of it's goodness)
Dual Shot (for anti-monk spiking, gets the monk to start HB or Orison, Concussion Shot his HB or Orison and you're all set...I can hit monks for 105+ with this)
Distracting Shot (Stops those annoying healing signets and miscellaneous skills)
Concussion Shot (Interrupt the monk with this, makes the monk into meat for your warriors)
Savage Shot (I don't use it much, it's generally what I substitute for a utility)
Read The Winds (Faster arrows, more damage)
Favorable Winds (Even faster arrows, still more damage)
Troll Unguent (Healing)

the old Quick Shot build is a 3-shot spike (Dual-Quick-Savage) versus the newer, more common 2-shot spike (Dual-Punishing/Dual-Savage)
