Heh just got back from Eb games just got my pre-order disk.

the staff is glitched. gah. you dont get the main 10 energy from it, and i know you should becasue i tested my theory with ragos staff, and had no points in fire, and it still gave me my 10 energy. all you get is the insightful part. :/

If i remember correctly, all the preorder items is the same regardless which stores you preorder from. I don't know why A-Net didn't spend times or effort into making different weapons like chapter 1's preorder. Maybe time issues and hope of making the deadline for the release date?

on that note, it all depends on the employees at the store near you, some stores are great for customer service, others not so great. you're best bet would be to get to know the guys working there, and show your face... preorder games you know you want to get, and eventually they will assuredly make the effort to get in touch with you.
it's a money business, when they know you'll spend money, they'll give you attention.

I just got my preorder today and noticed the same thing with the staff.... only gives u the +5 energy and ignores the +10.... I hope Anet fixes it soon... would be a waste of a cool lookin staff if they left it bugged..

everyone who i have seen that has gotten their preorder items has had those 2...
maybe its just a coincedence but i dont know...

ok this is a dumb qustion even BestBuy would not answer. I guess I'll have to wait and see what they do.. IN any case .. I want the CE version. but Bestbuy would not let me put down more then the $10 for the preorder package for the game. They told me to hold on to my reciept and when the game comes out the $10 is rebated back when I pick up the game... I guess its all done automatically in the POS system... In any case what happens if I pickup the Factions CE box instead of the standard edition? Will I still get my $10 off? Or does it only apply to the Standard edition? Even the employees at the store had no idea on that one... I'm going to try for the CE edition anyway. And if I don't get my $10 back... oh well... I guess its still worth it..

no its nothing like that ...what they are doing you see is they give europe and us these crappy bugged pre order items that they spent 5 minutes on right and what they will do is give korea/taiwan/japan the good stuff that acctually looks cool...

Oh yeah, we got the crappy stuffs for our preorder last years and now this year we just get some daggers and staff. I wonder what the Japan, China, Taiwan and other countries will be getting for their preorders.
