dwarven axe??

ok where do u farm them? i see people sell like 20 at a time and im wanting to know what drops them and where.

20 at a time? I have never seen a person who has 20 dwarven axes ever. But at this point, I believe the only place that can drop drawven axes are

1) Winning the HoH, and opening the chest there
2) The chest that appears when you finish some of the quest in FOW

It used to be that the lost strongbox in Dreadnought's drift and ice floe dropped them, but they were taken out of the game.

yeah i was goin through the high end forums and this guy had 20 dwaren axes for sale no jk. only a few of em were max damage and had mods but he had tons.

The dwarven axes you often see for sale at crazy prices are usually the same weapons being passed around by various sellers, each selling for a profit on what they bought it for. There is no pve area or creature type that drops these and the fissure quest chests only drop purple items.

Most of the gold dwarven axes you see in game were more than likely from the dreadnought's drift strongbox. It no longer exists now and was nerfed a while ago anyway. But pre nerf this was the place to go to get gold rare skinned items. I believe a good number of the rare crystalline swords came from this box before it got nerfed and the same ones are still being passed around, albeit at vastly inflated prices.

I've had one drop in SF. Don't flame me, and i bought one that dropped there.

Neither were max, but, they dropped!

Yeah, the SF chest had a few. Huge source was from Dreadnought's Drift Lost Strong Box. They drop a few rares rarely in HoH. White Max Dmg one can fetch like 50k though. Seen quite a few people buying at that price. Probably just for the skin so they can show off and say it is Req.7, max dmg, 15^50, lol.

For people who haven't seen this dwarven axe, do Kilroy's quest and before you accept it, you can see what he's wielding.

i have a dwarven req 10 10/9 +29, but i try to pass it off as perfect when i am running :P

For those who just want the skin, there is a Yak's quest that gives a battle axe of fortitude that has the dwarven skin.

Why is a dwarven axe so speical? Just because it's rare or speical look? If 2nd choice, can anyone give a picture?

IMO it's by far the coolest looking weapon in the game. (Crystalline would rock, but I hate the hilt. heh)

actully in the new uw tombs they do drop i recently have got 1 from a guy(not boss) not sure which 1 but it wasn't max and the req was 13 so it sorta suck but i sold it to a low level guy

I bought one of these(max dmg req 10, 10/8 furious, 15% enchant) for 2k.

i found a dwarven axe outside of THK, dropped out the lost strongbox
