Theres many reclusive axe skins that are hard to find.
Dwarven axes, Serpent axes, Krytan Axes, Tribal Axes, and Sickles.
I have NEVER had a dwarven axe, serpent or krytan axe drop for me. And those are more "common" than high damage sickles.
I wont believe a max dmg sickle unless i find it myself. XD
Where to find MAX Brute Swords and Sephis Axes?

As far out of myne xp i know that shiverpeak warrior's do drop Brute Sword's / Tribal Axe's / Sickle ( tyrian version ) ... but these enemy's can only be found in low-level area's, so yes i also have to see with my own eyes when the first max Tribal or Sickle Axe drops! Shiverpeaks can be found randomly in the low-level mountain area's ( for example : Enter Deldrimore Bowl by going out the north exit of Beacon's Perch ).
As far as i know there arent any High-Level Shiverpeak Enemy's ... But you have the same kind of enemy's in the desert but with a different name, and i dunnow if they would have the same drop skins as in the mountain's would be logicall if they wouldent.

Several people have offered large amounts of gold and even Ectos just to SEE a max damage sickle in game. If one did exist, it would surely have shown up by now. I have played the game since it came out, and the best sickle I have ever had drop for me was 6-22, which I sold for an insane amount at the time.

We are talking about the TYRIAN Sickle. The same skin as Victo's Battle Axe.
This axe has never existed as a gold, at least theres ZERO proof of it existing ever as a Gold Max Damage Weapon.
Heck even Dwarven and Krytan and Serpent Axes have gold versions. -.o
But not hte sickle or the tribal.

I thought Sephis only dropped from Undead enemies. Ive never gotten one from a Troll.

Highest known sickle max dmg is 6-27. No purple or gold have been found. Highest reported dmg for a tribal axe is 6-27 although Nefastaru said he had a 6-28 one but he lies alot. I would glady pay many hundreds of thousands of gold for a 6-26/7 one and would start any bidding at one million gold for a max one. No purple or gold have been found. Brute swords can drop anywhere I think.

Brute swords can drop anywhere I think. Hell's Precipe is considered "undead area" so ya. Sephis Axes also drop in any of the Titan Quests. I got this Sephis farming "Undead Hordes" quest. But thats way nerfed now. My brute came from a southern shiverpeak chest. i believe it was in iron mines.

A better place for max dmg are the undead in Hell's Precipice (uncluding the chests there). Note: I said Hell's Precipice (the mission ONLY) not any Darkstone chest on the island...
