Compensating a team for quitters with henchmen
Redfang
In the early stages of the game, where cooperative missions don't take as long, having people drop out and quit is an annoyance.
Later in the game, where missions can take hours, having people drop out is a major annoyance.
People do drop out. Sometimes it is because they want to. Sometimes it is because they go link dead. Either way, they are a grey bar.
What if, when a team suffers a quitter, a henchmen automatically replaces the quitter? That way, the team can keep going.

Mhenlo to the rescue!! Raaahh!!

Sounds like a good idea. As long as there is a choice in which hench you receive. I wish I could rejoin my group after I go link dead. Really, rejoining lost groups would be good too.

Sounds like a great idea to me!

Yeah this is needed.
Phantium

Very good idea. People dropping is my pet peeve! It usually goes like this..
"Bla, Bla looking for mission group"! Bla bla gets invited.
"Ok lets go I dont have much time" First red flag is up.
leader says "lets do the bonus"
Bla bla says "I dont have time lets hurry" hmmm
Halfway through to hardest part "I gotta go sorry"
Bla bla is linkdead.
GRRRRRRRRRRRRR!~!!!!

I too agree, however, I have already suggested this a looong time ago
It is indeed anoying when people drop. I know there are reasons that are valid, but still, at least this way we could get on with the mission.

This is an amazing idea..
You could start by just replacing with a random henchman, than maybe give the leader the choice of which one..
I'd say any hench is better than an empty spot..
Please implement this..
*applauds*

what if we got the "closest related" henchman? If a mage drops before Yak's bend they're automatically replaced with Orion. If a monk drops, replaced with Alesia, warrior=fighter and ranger=archer. Then after yak's bend it's even better because there are also the cultist (for necros) and the mesmer.
