Ascension Question

I'm a monk how the crap do I Ascend when all I do is heal? In mirror fight, why does the computer have a weapon that causes 2x as much damage as anything I have? I have never come across a decent monk weapon yet. And I'm level 20.

try to fill up on skills that are a complete waste of time. I made no adjustments(being ranger) and found the npc sat there for a while and started enchanting himself to make him stronger ect. while i blasted him with damage attacks. By the time he was about to attack it was too late

Yeah just use skills the make it waste its time and doesnt help it. Like me i am a W/E so I put in all my attunement skills. Then I put in attacks that you have to use together in a combo to work affectivly because the computer just uses them at random. With that I can usually beat my mirror in under 15 seconds.

I've tried this. The computer just starts attacking me with the bow at +50 dmg. I try to draw in close, but the axe does +60 dmg. The best I can do with my Holy staff is +20 dmg.

Did you guy notice that when the mirror attacks he did at least 2x the dmg you could?

My double did more damage to me with a firestorm than I did to him with a Meteor Storm.. Go figure.. Finally had to take both of those out.. although I probably could have left the meteor shower in there and made him try to use it while I beat him to death with cheaper and faster skills...Gotta love the hindsight..hehe

took me 5 tries with my nec/mes, on the fith try i rearanged my skills used exactly 4 mesmer skills, i didnt move from where it started me, 4 spells that took health from him when he cast a spell, so as soon as i get in, did one after another, then stood in place and hit tab and space to attack with a cesta , i hit him like 2 times then he started casting spells and basically killed himself for me

altho i have to say getting 2x or 3x the damge done really sucked and the fact im a necro...he shouldn't have been weilding an axe or a bow, woulda been nice to have aquired one of these special GLOWING weapons for killing him in under 20 seconds.....all i get is to get to the next area...and know that the gods ae watching me even in the bathroom!!!! lol

It was pretty hard with my e/me. Once, it crit me for 180 with a bow...180!!! Another time it shattered enchantment me for 87, but I had NO ENCHANTMENTS ON!! Took me about 5 tries or so.

However, on my warrior I killed it on my first try in less than 7 seconds XD

Try to get it to waste time with self buffs, that's pretty much the best way to beat it.
