So I don't know the first thing about staves really and Lady Sapphire wasn't around

Anyways some help with this would sweets.

Also what are the most preferred magics for staves, like other than fire and death?

i've never seen a prot based staff or rod? am i missing out on something?

i am just trying to determine what is best for a monk per se

Actually you do get the energy no matter what. No theres no prot req rods/staves
