Do minions count as animals?

I'm guessing probably not, but i wasnt quite sure how to check. I was browsing thru skills and noticed that Otyugh's Cry, which is rather useless for rangers, could be of great use to an mm if it did indeed work on dumb minions. All minions would gain 20 armor and attack the exact target you cast it on. I figure its a long shot, but was worth asking...

are you sure about that, or just making an assumption? to the best of my knowledge Otyugh's Cry is the only skill other than charm animal that refers to 'animals', not 'animal companion'

If I remember right from the one time I tried out this skill, it refers to "animals" becuase it will effect wild animals.

Yes it will, but would that ugly smelly dirty grimy corpse count as a cute pet cat?

Sorry couldn't resist the urge to post in here

"Allied pets" refers to the "animals" in the "Allies" portion of your party member; therefore, no, it should not work on minions, although I have never tested it, I'm just going off of logic here, so if someone could verify this, it would be nice

Well, I know most dispise it but... I recieved the GW guide book for christmas and in the back it has a section "Pets" and the minions, fiends, and horrors are in that section so, yes i believe that they are pets nd that would be SO cool using CoH on your army...
