Just thought I'd share this build I used to get 18 and 22 game streaks. (Other allies had a warrior or 2 and one had a healer).
R/Mes level 14
Illusion- 6
Beast Mastery- 9
Wilderness survival 4
Marksmanship- 1 (from mask)
Imagined burden
Troll unguent
Call of protection
Call of haste
Feral Lunge
Comfort Animal
Charm Animal
Rez Signet
Basic strategy was I would call a target (healer or weak caster). I use burden on target and warriors attack along with my pet. Guy goes down fast due to focus fire and my pet skills. Feral lunge is awesome. I have bleeding on them for 16 seconds. That is deadly. If you get the hang of controlling your pet, it is very powerful. Much better than trying to get off a hunter's shot imo. Call of haste had my moa pet attacking wicked fast. Protection made him almost invulnerable taking a whopping 9 damage off per hit for 2 minutes! These skills are strong. Not sure how this would work at a higher level, but we dominated our opponents. Most victories were flawless. Just figured I'd write to give you fellow rangers hope. Before these streaks, I was going to come rant about how ranger blows in pvp. Anyway, experiment with stuff and see what happens. Beastmaster has arrived.

Looks nice...
If i were you i'd only take out the markmanship mask and replace it with a beastmastery mask... looks like you aint using marksmanship anyway...

I want to, but I don't have a fur square lol. This build is so much better than my marksman build. I'm not using marksmanship in pvp anymore.

And this really works? Against a monk?
umm... ok, nice to know there are some awful PvPers out there playing monks, lol, running around for no reason.
OBVIOUSLY you have never ran into a monk using healing seed, healing breeze and a whole slew of other healing stuff.
I am a Monk/Mesmer, and unless they somehow get past my hex breaker stance (protects me for almost 2 minutes aganst hexes and causes damage to hex caster for only 5 energy - THE BEST anti-hex skill in the book), I can (and have in similar circumstances) easily tank your pet AND you with minimal effort. Heck I can do this while healing my other teammates as well.
Hope to run into you sometime

Not to rain on your parade, but level 14 pvp isn't exactly representative of high-end stuff. Tombs / etc has maxed-out characters that come prepared with counters to many common strategies like burden... bleed is also generally ignored [unless as a secondary effect, cf. hunter's shot / barbed trap], poison and fire are much better degen overall.
Your build might have neat sustained damage, but without abilities to produce crazy burst damage, a lone monk can outheal you easily [speaking from experience, here :/ ] and still have enough resources left over to heal his teammates at the same time.
just my 2 plat,

I pvp with my pet, i have way more into beast mastery and i have the beast master mask too, i would say having a GOOD pet is great, heck as soon as my strider dies i die. But he's the best and i love him XD

I admit that I am only at level 15 arena. However, this is still a build in progress and I'm hoping it stays viable in future levels. I can make a few adjustments. As far as hall of heroes goes, I have a very low shot of getting on a team since I am a.....Ranger

To reduce a pet ranger to cinders, just kill his pet. -_-, its not so hard
