Personalized Posters of Characters
Angelos Dekaiou
I don't know if anyone has ever suggested this but I think it would be pretty neat if GW had an option where we could have them make a poster of our character(s) kind of like the pics they have in the game guide. Say, send them 5-10 bucks and they can render the character with the name in a cool font and mail us a poster.

Try a hundred bucks at the least, man. They'd have to have an army of artist rendering character images day and night. Maybe as a tournament prize, but not as a business opportunity I'm afraid.

Or you can commision artwork from one of the many artists on this forum...but trust me $5-10 aint gonna cut it XD

Wish it would. Then I could afford some work done. Still, poor starving artists have to feed themselves somehow, I suppose.

Well...you could buy food instead of six hundred dollar art programs!! XP

Its possible, provide that there is a copy of super high res render of each armor set and hair style already made (which I questions...) But since A.net is a game developer company, and not a photo studio... don't really think they would go with that route.
Forum artist is your best bet.

I like the Idea really much I mean who wouldn't love a poster of their character posing in their fancy new FoW and maybe print it on to a T-shirt but I think Demand on such things would go through the roof and it wouldn't be cheap
But like I sayd I love the Idea

Yeah, well i really didn't mean fully artist rendered... i dunno if i even meant rendered. I meant just like the pictures we see when we first log in.. when we choose which one to play with. Surely they have some program or another that can print it bigger... look at the printing in the guide book. Pretty nice. Anyway... the demand WOULD probably be pretty high on stuff like that but it would still be really cool.
