So, I tried to mail amazon customer support over the fact that they still have no preorder package, and lo and behold:

Europe's screwed bigtime We want favor!! (just go and ask a retailer in the Netherlands about the Pre-Order, you'd be lucky if they even heard about the original campaign)

I live in the Netherlands as well, and I always thought GW could only be pre-ordered online?
Are you telling me that I can also pre-order in shops?

Yeah, you can pre-order in shops if you're lucky enough to find a shop which knows about the pre-order. The odds aren't great here in europe.

I'll be ordering from www.gameplay.co.uk as they are reasonably priced and DO know about the pre-order, unlike Amazon.co.uk.

As an aside, is the amazon.co.uk a completely different company than amazon.com, or howcome they have different stock & prices?

Not sure if is the preordering that need a good fix or people at games stores should have better knowledge about games and ANet doest advert enough in the UK like others do. But try asking Alex Weekes he sounds like the person in charge in the UK, but again I may be wrong.

I have preordered from GamePlay and received my keys within 24 hours GamePlay don't mention the preorder box though.

Game lists both parts of the pre-order and says they will send the keys by email, and then the box when it arrives, but they don't list the CE.

Those stores are the ones that sold the original Guild Wars, Prophecies. It isn't stated anywhere that these stores are selling Factions too....

Just aside, there aren't any Dutch stores mentioned for online (pre)order. (nor Belgian, nor from Luxembourg). So players from the Benelux are forced to get a copy from a German, French or UK shop? Just suppose I pre-order a copy, I recieve a key via e-mail (shouldn't be a problem), but the content of the full game will be dispatched at April 28th, and will arive 3-4 days later if I'm lucky. Or will they sent me an e-mail with the key for the full game too?

I don’t think they can do that, like physically open a box take down the cd key and post it open, to much chance for abuse.

They can send you a beta key; cos that’s what they are beta and they have a time limit.

Yes, that's what I want to know, too. I'm also from Holland and I'm considering pre-ordering from Gameplay in the UK (I have guildmates who pre-ordered from there), but not if it takes that long for the actual game to get to me.

I haven't seen any Dutch stores or online retailers with the pre-order . And I really want it, because I want to start playing on the 27th, and I want the special items and stuff.
