Dwarven armor and all the other salvageable armor

ok the armor u can get from dwarves and zealots and knights and all those other things that are solely meant for salvaging, they all....or most of them anyway say like 40 armor....50 armor ect. is there any way to attach that to other armour or is that just for the look and feel, cause i think it says something about u being able to? just wondering

I agree. In fact, (and I could be mistaken) if you mouse over them, it tells you it's a salvage item.

they are just for salvage. if the item name is colored and/or says unidentified, then id it, it may unlock a rune. if the armor has a rune attached to it, the name will change to something along the lines of "dwarven armor of minor fast casting". if this is the case, you can also expert salvage it for a chance to get the rune. you have a much better chance to get minor than you do major, and even more so than a superior rune. these are the upgrades that can be attached from the npc armor onto your armor.
