About unlocking skills:
Toxic RD
I know that what ever skills you have previously unlocked in PVE become available at any skill trainer, but what about skills unlocked thru PvP, i'm mostly a PvE person, i dont do PvP, unless there's a benefit from it for PvE, and right now im running short on cash (6k and nobody will buy my tanzits cleaver) so i cant buy all the skills i would like to for my lower level characters
Does unlocking anything in PvP do anyting for my PvE experience?

Not really.

Having a skill unlocked will, in of itself, not benefit you at all unless you play PvP.

Well you can unlock a skill through PvP and then purchase the skill from a skill trader anywhere in RPG. That's what I did for my new necro. Unlocked a few skills that I wanted by using some faction and then once my character got to Ascalon City, purchased the skillbar that I wanted. Just remember that this would only work with non-elites because the skill traders only sell normal skills.

Yeah, keep in mind unlocking will only be for your PvP characters.
Guardian of the Light
Well if you do PvP you can try out PvP team builds in PvE.

So 'A Buffalo" you're saying i can use faction points to unlcok skills while playin PVP, then those become available at all skill trainers in PVE?

It's the other way around. Playing PvE unlocks things for PvP.
You can now buy any non-elite skill you've unlocked however. That's the only way unlocking things help you in PvE.

Even for pvp, ya gotta be carefull what ya unlock on your char.. 'Cause ya eventually want to use your pve chars for pvp..

For example, I unlocked Blood of the Master using faction points on a PvP character and then went on my new Necro in Ascalon City and bought Blood of the Master from the skill trainer for a skill point and some gold. It allowed me to get skills earlier and not go crazy questing for them.
If you have gotten to the fire islands, Ember Light Camp should still have all the normal skills to purchase for your RPG character wether they are unlocked or not. That would get rid of the "double purchase" (faction points and then skill point + gold) .

One thing to remember if you're impatient to get to certain non-elite skills -- they can be capped just like elite ones, and the cost is identical to that of buying them at the skill trainer when you can find one who sells it.
For an elementalist, the obvious skill to acquire in this way is Aftershock, which can be capped in the Dragon's Lair if not before, and otherwise needs to be bought from a trainer late in the game.
