Price Increase for FoW Scar Armor?

Ive been hearing rumors that the price of Necromancer Scar Armor at the Forgemaster has increased from 8k to 15k and scar patterns now cost shards in addition to ecto? Is this true? And can anyone provide a pict if it is true?

It is true, but im not going to go through fow just to provide a picture.

The scar armor still costs 8k, but no requires ecto AND shards. The only thing that has changed is the added shards.

If it was 15k each now, it wouldn't be much, 7k more per piece isn't that much if you're buying FoW armor. It's the added shards requirement that is the change. But that is a lot. It should run people a few hundred extra platinum then the original cost of it.
On a side not, why does tats need shards? FoW warrior armor you can see the shards and if you salvage it, you get ectos (confirmed by a guy that was leaving the game). But w/ tats, where would there be ectos OR shards? Is the Forgemaster making unique armor and just taking your ectos and shards to resell to the vendor? Do they have a secret deal? The Forgemaster probably takes 1/2 the profits because it is him who provides the incentive to buy materials in first place.
