Monk Ascending problem

Ok im having a problem im trying to ascend my lvl 13 monk. I can't kill the dude. I don't have many skills unlocked can someone tell me a build to kill the dude so i can ascend?>

i just "55ed" him at level ten making me like 30 health with prot spirit and just smite the hell outta him

problem with that is im short on gold

and i think i have prot spirit

use max dmg wand-healing breeze-symbol of wrath-balthazars aura-... when i did it i bought some major runes and lowered my hp to very low hp (3-10hp). then pack prot spirit and you just have to arrange your energy usage. try go near him to make him use symbol or aura so you step out of it oh and also go there to use it :P, the basic monk advantage is that he cant use healing breeze(unless they fixed it) havent tried it for awhile but i think it works jst keep in mind to have the wands req. right

i just used smiting spells and relied on luck. worked on the 7th try
