Scars?!

Hey,
I am a kind of noob to Guild wars tbh and well kinda of confused about my necromancer amour wtih scars.

My friend who has completed the game as w/m said try and get a free test run to droks or get ran to droks. (I got a free run ) And well he said that the best armour is there.

Now I was looking at the amour and said that there was a "Arm scar" something. My friend said that scars could only be used as a head piece, but there is like a leg scar and stuff so I was wondering if you can get scars for all the parts of your amour? + runes because the scars are stacking?

Tbh the above proberly made no sense but if some1 can read the above and make sense of it, help me

you can go all scars and i think you should because that is the armor that gives you the most energy. Maybe you can take bloodstaned boots if you want to go with minion making.

So are you saying that I would use "scars" instead of "armour" and not "Armour + Scars"

there are 4 different head peices for the necro, all of which are scars. then there is also a single full set of armor which is scars. the scar armor provides as much protection as the standard necro armor and only slightly less than the other armor styles. the head scars give you bonuses to different stats, as well as providing armor

It's not a question of scars or armor. Scars are armor.
