there are 2 possible answers (well 3 if you count the BIOS settings)
1 if you have to ask dont even try.
2 VERY CAREFULLY with a UL electrical rating fire extinguisher handy

wat would u reccomend i tweak it to?and how in bios?
or is 2.7volts @ 3-4-4-8 good enough? i just wanna get the best performance out of it

google overclocking and pick an overclocking tech site which will (usually) have complete instructions.
your motherboard manual may have a section on ajusting the MB voltage settings

it is actually stock at 2.7volts @ 3-4-4-8
its an A-Data vitesta 2GB (2 x 1GB) 184-Pin DDR SDRAM Unbuffered DDR 400 (PC 3200) System Memory
so, ur saying thats high enough as it is?

Personally I say overclocking isn't worth the risk to the equipment these days. When I made my RAM purchase, I made sure I purcahsed fairly high end fast stuff and thus got 2-2-2-5.
In the end this is my recommendation. If you play a game, at the graphics level you are comfortable with and it is nice and fluid on the monitor then don't bother messing with anything. Don't try to fix what isn't broken, or you may well break it - even if you are experienced at such things. Right now Guild Wars runs at 80fps to 120fps, I couldn't dream of wasting effort and risking my equipment to 'overclock' it any faster.

can you squeeze a little more performance out of it?
big yes.
it may blue screen you twice a day , you may lose data, it may only last a month before burning out .................
but it may be 15% faster ( which you will never notice since it is fast enough already)
it is already fast so leave it at what the manufacturer says

Res Surrection,
Please leave overclocking alone, you will break it, only overclock if your sure you know what your doing. tightening up the ram timings most possibly will cause your pc to either crash or not boot.
My advice, get some more experience before trying. your pc will be good enough even at stock speeds.
I only overclock for fun, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, I can afford to break things, some cannot.
