Well I also heard in Factions that if you hoard 10 Alpine Seeds, Gloom Seeds, Abnormal seeds, Unnatural seeds, and spiny seeds, go outside drop them, and kneel (plant them) when you rezone into that area a week or so later there will be a randomly spawned Uber rare item waiting for you.
EDIT, not yet known if you will have to go back and water them yet though.
