Could you possibly list your computer specifications and tell us anything you may have already attempted in trying to fix it (virus scan, defrag, scandisk etc.)?

doh to slow !

What does the properties Dialog say about your device ? (something) on (some display)
If it says anything except the type of card you have ie Ati Radeon 9600
then your driver might be the wrong one or might not be correctly installed, thus you are using a generic driver.
I also see that it is a compaq computer. Where did you get the driver from, while the ati drivers that are on ati.com can work or be made to work compaq maybe be picky about the driver you use. Its been sometime since I used compaq, but they are one of the companies that used to be that way.
Is this a laptop ? I have 9550 in mine and I had to mod the drivers to get the new ones. Just curious.

Well it says Sony SDM-HX77 on Radeon 9500 Pro Series Secondary
aeroclown
it sounds like either you have more then one device installed or you are not on the primary display.

BUT than I signed back in last nite and lasted about 10 min until BSOD.Rebooted went back in and noticed I did not have the cd in put it in and played for about an hour than computer rebooted and got the GW error#7 and said was unable to complete the session..thank you

why does my dxdiag show one version sound driver and in my system device mgr. is a different version.GW asked me to download sound drivers, but mine are the current ones.

The Err=7 is caused by connection errors. Generally your connection goes splat.
Next time you get this error, look at your cable modem (or any other type of device hooked up to your computer that uses lights) and watch if it has reset itself. This happens sometimes to myself for no apparent reason in general, in or out of game, but I'm thinking its due to using up cable line space for my TV. (Thats between you and me.)
The sound drivers, I have no clue why that is. Uninstall the drivers and run another DX scan to see if it lists that the driver is still there.
