Does anyone else think that a lot of people are just going to get their new factions char, get a run to droks, get pled to 20 then just play factions as level 20? :\ seemsl ike a bad thing

They have a factions campeign when you make a new charcter, so who knows.

They've said that 80% of the content in Chapter 2 is meant for lvl 20s. So I don't care if people get a run to Droks or not.

Personally, I will do my new character the right way (i.e. through the new storyline to level up). What you point out is a legit concern, but I don't think it will be as frequent as people using other existing characters to go over to factions, complete the content, farm items, and use the knowledge and items to then speed their other char's through whatever is the new equivalent of ascending.

You can only travel between Cantha and Tyria once ascended (or the factions equivalent), so this won't be a problem.

Also I thought I heard they were physically closing off the droks run path completely. Meaning they'll prolly take out a zone from that middle zone to the first zone. And as far as Factions goes, since the assassin skills are gonna be too leet for running, in the Factions game there will prolly be some extremely tough stuff to pass if you're gonna get a run to anywhere worthwhile. Of course you'll always be able to still offer runs from Ascalon to Ashford Abbey for 50g to presear.

if 80% is for level 20 than either A) your going to game XP fast or B) the game is REALLY long cause i would say post asecnsion is for level 20 so what 30-40%

Of course, it won't take long for level 20 characters from Tyria to start running Factions characters to the Cantha equivalent of Droks...
That's just another way to play the game. Nothing to be upset about (for the record, I've never been run anywhere, I prefer to play the game as is.)

well i dunno, if you're actually doing all the quests that are available to you, along with the missions, you get to lvl 20 pretty fast in the current GW. I don't recall exactly but I think you would get to lvl 20 somewhere around the end of Kryta or the middle of the Maguuma Jungle areas. But since a lot of the missions are repeatable, and more PvPish you prolly will gain more experience from just killing stuff per mission, and maybe the quest rewards will be larger.
