is there any way to check your fps while its not in a game, and any way to check your 3d benchmark? also how fast ur pc is going ...ect

Your not using FPS when your not playing a game...it's more of your screen refresh rate I think...

For 3D Benchmarks, try '3DMark06', '3DMark05', '3DMark04', AquaMark 3, etc.

How fast your PC is going? Start, Run, 'dxdiag', OK, then it should say next to the processor name the speed.
