((((Taking more than a minute to kill a group/wurm form a pro build is junk!))))
Alright i know theres alot of ripotsie builds out there but i felt i shoudl make my own if u have the same build dont worry i didnt steal it i made this all on my own

TACTICS- 12 +1 rune i strongly suggest buying a tactics helm but im to cheap to get a new one lol
STRENGTH- 10 +1 rune (put more if u can)
SWORDMANSHIP- whatever you hae left +1 rune +1 hat (dont get the hat if u have a tactics one)

Now first things first, desert griffons, these are legendary for poping golds, not to mention the gold coin drops arent that bad, even since the nerf they still drop a lil good. Now the first choice is destinys gorge, just run outside to the scar and this map shoudl tell you the rest, try to look around for the lone sand wurm, just keep up dolyak and glads when its recharged only use sheild/bonettis if u go bellow 50% hp

Now next up is sand wurms, eh the bleached shells dont sell very well any more but sometimes theyll drop golds and u might run across the occasional shell buyer (or u can try and sell collector shields >_<) Now to start go out dunes of despair and take the first left, sprint past those RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GOers until they stop follow then go activate/ go through the portal, then u have 2 choices u can go left and kill all the griffons/sand drakes u can find or go up and run through that area with alot of big rock pillars, go to the rcok pillars run around killign all the wurms then go back and kill all those griffs and drakes, heres the map

Alright to wrap it up (i might update it later) theres the droks trolls, now this can be tricky with my build jsut use ur inner proness, i know u have it, if u want tweak it a lil bit hell even post the changes, just try to ALWAYS have a stanc eup and rember that bonetis ends when u use a skill, with that in my here are my screens/map

neways ill update this with more meele ownage farming if i can find more to do wiht my ripotise

I dislike the fact that the Riposte skills are sword only but I'd like to find out an axe variation of this build.

Bwahah! Though lacking the fight-back power of the Ripostes, it still can generate a TON of it's own self-healing hp and armor and with a strong Adrenal engine like Cyclone Axe, Bonetti's and Watch Yourself can be up for a helluva long time... ^_^

conches, nice post. cool pics. one question, outside of Destiny noticed you had XP penalty. what the heck killed you out there? that zone is a cakewalk. fall asleep at the keyboard?

I use sever,riposte and final thrust or deadly riposte for riposte builds.

They are called riposte's.. not ripotise's.

I use:

Deadly Riposte
Gladiator's Defense {E}
Shield Stance
Sprint
Healing Breeze
Mending
Healing Signet

With Mending on I only need to use Heal Signet when I have a lot of mobs on me, or when fighting spellcasting crits like Hydra, and Healing Breeze is for emergency when Mending gets removed or something.

Max Tactics, 8 Healing, the rest in Sword - since Rip/DR/Glad depend on tactics for dmg, not on your sword skill.

the stratergie is to first cast the two enchantments.
In the fight keep the stances on at all times and when you renew bonettis defence before you do do both ripostes
Allways remeber that bonettis ends when u use a skill.

12 tactics(+3+1)
the rest in smite

The best things are the skills are all very easy to get AND you don't have any points in sword so You don't need to find an uber sword all it takes is 100g to but a superoir tactics rune.

i've been using something similar to this for what seems like ages now.

yes, i have no swordsmanship, i only use the sword for gathering adrenaline.

from what i can see in the first pic is that you have swordmanship at 6 but your using a sword that requires swordmanship of 12.

surely you dont get full mods off the sword then wouldnt that be a waste of using that sword for not being able to have full usage of the mods on it

i think he gets the mods, like the health, but dosen't get his damage welshy...but you won't do dmg with your sword, riposte and glad's defense will ^^

Bring a Fiery Dragon Sword (Griffs are weak to Fire, my FDS do like 10+ more dmg on them, tested) and start owning them.

Thats 7 skills, leaves one optional to something else, me, i go with w/e and every once in a while ill switch around attribute points for:

Armor Of Earth
With armor of earth dolyak signet, Watch Yourself, and the 2 stances above, I farm perdition, I CAN EVEN FARM JUNGLE TITANS, so w/e is my fav combo period for any solo farming,

I like my build. It is intended to kill griffons as fast as possible. I prefer killing them in goups of three as fast as possible than 9 at a time but slowly because u need to heal. So here it goes

Riposte

Hundred Blades (E) or flurry : both can get adrenaline fast
Thrill of Victory
Dolyak Signet
Bonetti's when your energy gets below 5
Mending
Whatever u want (Healing signet recommended if u want to solo more than 5/6 at a time) or sprint

With mending on u won't need to heal so all u have to do is spam ripostes and HB. If u solo a group of 3 they'll drop fast cause u'll get more ripostes per griffon.

I've also farmed Sand wurms and Hydras with this build (for the hydras u'll need healing signet) and also sand giants (but that's too risky cause)

Because this build uses lots of energy I use Warrior's endurance to supply the other skills with the energy needed. The regen time on most of these skills is very fast so I find I am clicking these skills like a mad man and I rarley have to wait for more energy. I am dishing out big time damage very fast. I tested this and have taken out two jades at the same time solo. I have also taken out 5 monsters (solo) before the rest of the monsters took me down.

You might say big deal and W/m can do that but, I am not a W/m I made the mistake as a noob and chose Ranger as a secondary profession. I never use my secondary skills. Sometimes I will bring Sally my pet spider with me but the point is I use all warrior skills with only my healing signet and endure pain to compensate for HP loss. My max heath is 380 ( because I use superior runes). This will give you a better Idea on how affective this build is. In a grp this build is one tough tank!

380 HP no healing skills and I can bring down more then one monster solo at the same time.

I am still working an a adr based build which can be just as affective.

instead of wariiors endurance why dont u use bonetties so u can leave a elite skill slot open

thats when im fighting mostly physical attackers, normally get 0 dmg from everyting, n if theres gonna be any degens i change n take the usual monk skills.

why dotn u take out defy pain and stick in glads, u have to have good tactics for ur helaing signet alreayd and it will kill enemys faster, i cant think of anything to farm wiht ripotise that requires defy pain, with dolyaks on u shoudl be fine

Because with B-defense I need 8 adr before I can activate. With W-endurance I can start the battle dishing out heavy damage instead of waiting until I have enough adr and I taken some damage. Bsides I think W-Endurance builds up my enery faster then B-Defense. There are times I have used both skills though which seems to work ok but I would rather have the extra slot for a damage strike.

I love the riposte brothers. They hang with me wherever the melee monsters like to cause trouble. I love my axes but it is swords for riposte so I keep some cool swords around.

I use this W/Me build with some slight modification for griffins, ettins, trolls, tundra giants, sand wurms, hydras etc.

Want to kill a couple of sand wurms fast? - use above with sever artery and Gladiators and physical resistance

Ettins? Savage slash, victory is mine, physical res - could sub in sprint for victory is mine

Hit anything with both ripostes and desperation and you have given them serious pain and often two conditions.

funny story - doing the luxon quest and most of my group died - no monk
I am on a killing spree and I look up an all the ettins are down accept the boss and one other. 3 warriors and a ranger got smashed a while ago, but our lonely ele had survived and was fighting the other ettin. I take a break from bleeding the boss and killed the ettin, so now the ele/monk begins to raise the group....
Well there was no point. I had already killed the boss so my comrades collected their goodies and left. No good drops for me at all. I decided to go down to farm the other ettins outside of that village and !bam! Got a very nice superior vigor rune. There is justice in GW afterall! LOL

I have found a very effective build for Troll farming for W/Mo.

Tactics - 12+1 (rune)
Strength - 3 +2 (rune+helm)
Axe Mastery - 7+3 (rune)
Healing - 8 (To have +3 health reg from mending)
2 Points left over

Gladiator's Defense
Cyclone Axe
Bonetti's Defense
Watch Yourself

This build gets me over 1000 hit points. I max out str and tactics attr because that is where the skills power comes from. Since I am relying on staying in the fight longer with 1000+ HP and want max damage from the riposte's. I am not using and SWD skills so I don't beaf it up. I have hung in battles for a long time while the rest of my team was dead. This is a good stance tank IMO.

Its hard for me to kill the trolls in the cave outside of droks with your build. My build actually helps me out more but they all get damaged yet i still die. Can anyone help me out here?
