Now for the PvE versions, you can run 12 axe without a problem, but for pvp, 16 axe is a must. I personally found 16 axe is great for both instances...
PvE Wandering Executioner
Axe Mastery
12+1+3 Tactics
7+1 Strength
Rest to Axe Mastery
10 Curses
Cyclone Axe
Dismember
Exe. Strike
Watch Yourself
Dolyak Signet
Bonetti's Defense
Healing Signet
Spiteful Spirit {E}
Decent for Soloing and smart parties [who stay away from you while you agro] Spiteful Spirit seems to be the only AoE striking spell that isn't totally impossible to use yet so it's good till they eventually nerf it.... ^_^ My old Axe build used to use Mark of Pain but recently, it's splat... Best buffs for defense is definitely Watch Yourself + Bonetti's + Dolyak Signet. Hide behind all your defensive buffs before you use your healing signet and let the stupid one with SS kill off the mob for you. 10 Curses lets it do a good job.
PvP 4v4 Defense Piercing Executioner
12+1+3 Axe Mastery
8+1 Strength
10 Curses *note, you can change strength to curses ratio to preference*
Eviscerate {E}
Exe. Strike
Swift Chop / Wild Blow *I prefer Swift Chop since I care little for stances*
Disrupting Chop *no res sig for j00*
Frenzy
Sprint
Rend Enchantments
Plague Touch / Res Sig [if my monk don't suck]
Since there aren't many foes to deal with, Dis. Chop is the key here. Rend makes the 55 hp monks who are too stupid to live in pvp remember why those builds are pve only... ^_^ Some would prefer wild blow and that's fine. I prefer the bonus damage on top of a possible crit rather than just a perfect crit and useless if enemy is using an enchantment [you know, those fast recycle ones that rend can't deal with too well.]
PvP 8v8 FEAR...
12+1+3 Axe Mastery
8+1 Strength
7+1 Tactics
8 Curses
Swift Chop
Eviscerate {E}
Exe. Strike
Fear Me!
Frenzy
Sprint
Rend Enchantments
Res Signet [or Plague Touch if you're not usually near a good prot monk]
Ah, my gvg tried and true build. Rend r0x on a warrior since nobody would expect a 3s. spell to come out of him... ^_^ That and he's usually [we hope] ignored so nobody will try to take advantage of the hp loss he'll suffer. Good for piercing defenses. I'm definitely in favor of Swift Chop in this case over Wild Blow due to one thing: DAMAGE... Swift chop's possible crit + bonus damage nearly guaruntees a kill using Evis, Exe., Swift Chop 3 hit combo. Fear Me! is considered to be a hinderance but in a large battle with 8 foes, tearing all of them down a few pips of e. regen is never bad. Some would say that it doesn't let you Evis. / Exe. combo enough. [for the record, stop thinking about only yourself ok? ^_^] Making the enemy struggle to keep their energy to me is easy to do alongside a good Evis + Exe. combo. If you can't manage both your spiking capabilities as well as the enemy's energy draining, then you're toast...
Some Blood Magic ideas did come to mind regarding the axe. [though I'm a Cursed Executioner at heart

Replace the curses skill ideas with these lovelies...
8 or 10 Blood Magic to feed:
Strip Enchantment
Life Siphon
Vampiric Gaze [I love this skill as a finishing blow to a cowardly runner]
In terms of Death Magic, you could be an eater-of-the-dead using Consume Corpse or Soul Feast [deny the enemy their corpses, but also your teammates too...]
The 16 tactics farming build for a warrior is this one that I found to be quite tasty [blood mode]
16 tactics
9 strength
10 blood magic
Gladiator's Defense {E}
Dolyak Signet
Watch Yourself!
Bonetti's Defense
Shield Stance
Sprint
Unholy Feast
Demonic Flesh
Now you can walk around with a TON of hp and armor level while at the same time devouring everything that gets in spitting distance... What's nice is that you can use pretty much any weapon. Instead of Shield Stance, you can use Healing signet if you're hammer happy. ^_^
For curses mode, your choice of curses would be Shadow of Fear and Enfeebling Blood instead of Unholy Feast and Demon Flesh. And since they're damage becomes crap, you can easily sub in Healing Signet for Shield Stance. Now that's convenience.... ^_^ Also, since Glad's Defense won't kick in as fast, you can use Spiteful Spirit instead! ^_^
Similar to the Wanderer up top, but a LOT more longevity at the sacrifice of damage...
Of course, anti-hex and anti-warrior skills that cause blind and the like will kill you so no need to mention them here. Any other ideas to augmenting the W/N?
[ah, studying kooky possibilities with this combo is my fav thing about this game. Soon, I've got to find a way to make a W/N using a Hammer very dangerous, will post later!
