Hello all, I am experiencing something I never have before. My IE is just dropping me for no reason as for as I can tell. It is very annoying and a huge hassle for me. The window appears after a couple seconds of lag saying, "Internet Explorer has encounter a problem and must close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." Then it asks if I want to report the problem or not.
Does anyone have any idea what might be causing this? It seems to only happen with Guru so I thought it might be server issues but if no one else is having the problem then I have no idea. I just ran a virus scan and an adware/spyware scan and found a moderate threat adware which has been removed. I am going to reboot my comp and see what happens then, if the problem stops or persists I will post the outcome.
Any tips would be greatly appreciated. If you need more info just post it and I will get back to you here ASAP.
Sincerely,
Sergio

Well after a reboot I think the problem has been solved. I'll post if anything happens.

Solution #1: Dont use IE.
Otherwise I dont really know why it would randomly crash, cept for something that its seeing in code, be it virus or spyware.

I must agree, dont use IE, use Firefox and such, and scan with adaware, spybot and install a good virus checker i.e. not Norton AntiVir or AVG, Avast! does a good job.
IE and outlook are wide open doors which lets all the nastys in to crash your machine.

Well for Virus Scans I use McAfee and have been very successful with it. As for adwares/spywares I use the free microsoft downloaded one and it seems to work well too. Many have told me to use firefox instead and I might consider the switch. Though this problem does seem to have been resolved by a simple reboot.
