If I remember correctly, Gwen is the little girl in pre searing. Whats so important about her? Why do people talk about her all the time?

For some, it's the endearing little dancing around and flute playing (not to mention the heals) in pre-searing. For others, it's the broken flute and tapestry shred you find later in the game, which make little allusions to something bad having happened to her.

Then, you meet her mother (Sarah) in Underworld. Too bad the quest is broken.

Of course, you never know if she's going to turn up at the end of the next beta and put a little spark into things...

Everyone's fascination with her stems from the mystery of her whereabouts after the Searing.

I really really hope Anet plays up to this obsession. Game designers take note! People love a rational mystery- something they can set their minds to chew on for a while. The attraction is that, while it's impossible to know now, someday the truth will be revealed...and possibly, just possibly...they'd been right all along!!!

Gwen will be at least a young woman by the time we see her again - keep in mind she was likely around 9'ish in pre, two years passed, so that's at least 11/12 if not more lik 15 (should could have be 11/12 anyways)

It's my bet that'll see her, or a woman, in Cantha or something and will start getting traces of her.

At the end of one of the beta weekends those still playing GW at midnight were suddenly greeted by Gwen and firebombed. This is a video some guy was making of his necromancer guild dancing when Gwen appeared and stole the show.
