Teleportation Effects

Nothing major really. When I was playing an assassin during the event, I can safely say I was pretty happy. What I was disappointed with, however, was the teleportation. It felt more like I was lagging instead of teleporting, as the game shows no sign of teleportation except simply moving you.

So, I just want to SEE like some effect when I teleport because it looks sort of boring at the moment. (Same with the Necromancer and eg. Necrotic Transversal skill) Thats my two cents.

Ideas:
A little glowing line that shows the area you teleported through
A blue aura where you are and where you were before
stuff like that

I expect some effect will be added by the time the game is released. One of the original ideals this game was built on was that you could tell what skills were being used on the battlefield just by visual and auditory cues (remember that the skill monitor that tells you what your opponent is casting wasn't introduced till later in the game). So requests for these visual effects aren't just for frills and gloss- it's legitimate content. Of course, in that vein, a lot of spells should get some more unique animations, but...

I would have to say some of those skills for the Ass. and Rit are being worked on and balanced with the rest of the profs.I found those spirits of the Rits more annoying than the Ranger's always in the way.

For Assassin there should be a puff of smoke in the spot he teleported from.

While I'm on the smoke topic, whats up with the purple stuff? Traditional grey smoke isn't cool anymore?

I don't think a glowing line would be too good. It'd show your targets where you went (thinking PvP of course).

Wasn't there a puff of smoke when you shadow stepped though?
