Ok, what the hell is this?

I just captured this screen 5 minutes ago in RA. As you can clearly see, that ranger is R/Rt (Ritualist). I'm confused

I've seen */Rt in random arenas before as well. I think they are still allowed to use em if they dont use any of the skills/attributes? Because i dont remember him using any ritualist spells.

Thats a character that the person had never deleted when they previewed the new classes to us for a few days. It was only for PvP (the preview) and thats why he still has it on his pvp char. He cannot use any ritualist skills nor have anything in ritualist attributes though, so its as if he is a Ranger with no secondary.

Sí, señor. All Rt+A skills are locked. The R/Rt in the screenshot would have to be playing a "pure" R20 build.

That is indeed the case, they can use there characters still .. just can't actually use any of its skills. So what you faced there was a plain ranger.

Because there's really no reason to do it- hence, most people don't. You don't get to use any Factions skills, you're just locked off from having a functioning secondary.

Because most people who had a */Rt or */A after the event ended got bored of the novelty value after a few days and deleted the character to make room for another one.

Yep. I had an R/A for a long time after the event and finally deleted her.

Rt/A = pointless char slot
though perhaps if they release the new emotes for them BEFORE they officially start, you could amaze everyone?

I have seen a few of those as well, I haven't seen and Ritualist or Assasin primarys though.

The characters with Rit or A primary were deleted at the end of the event. I had an Assassin when the event ended and afterwards she was gone. Only secondaries were left.
