So, who's the "scammer" here? Me, or this other guy?

Two things:
1. All mission runs are paid for at ONE TIME. Usually right before the end or right after. If you get asked for payments upfront, halfway through, cut scene, whatever, you're going to get screwed and you have no one to blame but yourself.

2. He didn't do what he said he'd do... you don't pay. He starts giving you sh!t? IGNORE HIM. Idiots like that don't deserve the time of day.

I had a guy try to charge me for a Grotto run that HE DIED on and I had to finish. He had the gaul to ask for his "payment." Right... you want me to pay you for doing YOUR job?! LOL.

Actually, the 500 at cutscene and 500 at the end is the most common way for the Sanctum Cay mission.

I did do what I said I would do; I got them all through the mission. No one else had troubles paying, none of them whined or complained.

I know I haven't been putting in that much punctuation, but I think I have been using at least decent or more than decent grammar and I haven't seen me butcher a spelling, or did you only read the first post before making a reply?

Any decent runner, would not even accept payment if he/she died on a paying run. They would complete the run for free. This is what I have seen from the best of the best.

Should he have been better prepared? Yes. There's no excuse for not being able to complete a run people are supposed to pay for. But now he knows that, and I'm sure he WILL prepare himself in the future... he seems like a bright enough bulb for that.

The only thing I have to say is anyone that judges someones itelligence from the way the type mid mission is a retard in my books. Not everyone grew up typing, we all havent had computers since we were in grade one. So ya in game my typing is F'ing atrocious, generally if i get a chance I will try to state this at the start of a mission, I cannot type and play well, so either I play well, or I type well, which would you prefer?

Im making fewer and fewr trips to the forums lately just cause it all a big whine fest thats it, theres rarely anything constructive or even remotley interesting being discussed , just pissing and moaning by various hard done by gamers. Do you know what these forums look like to the average person with over a grade 7 education. WE all look like a bunch of over indulgent, stuck in our over extended adolescence, arguing over grammar, and stupid pointless crap that doesnt really matter, half the time all parties involved are wrong..
Maybe more people should really start thinking about how they represent themselves , in game, on the forum, wherever, cause as it is know, I would never admit with anything other than shame, and embarrasment to being part of this whining community.

I can tell you've made a conscious effort here not to talk the way you do in-game so people will take you more seriously.

I find it hilarious why anyone would let you keep gold for a failed run. Yes, maybe it's easy for rich people who have tons of gold, but I garuntee you that's only a small percent of people. Most would want their money back simply because they didn't get what they paid for.

You were the only one alive at the beach on the first run. Who's denying that? I even stated before that I died after the cutscene on the first run, and watched you botch up the beach part. However, on the second run, most of the other people were alive when we got to the beach, and we all had to help you.

Hey, how was I supposed to know it was Drok's? They all look the same. For all I know, you could have been using much weaker Glad's/Knight's armor from earlier in the game, which seemed to be the case since you died so easily on the first AND second runs.

If you were using Drok's/15k armor, then I agree. That's the best armor. However, I doubt you WERE using it seeing as how you kept dying so easily.

You can always say there is "scamming" in running. But it is minor compared to the Ice N' Sapphires scam is nothing. Fine, it's a few hundred gold, but nothing huge, so not really a scam. If the guy is trying to scam on a run, that is pathetic, real scamming takes place in Lions Arch. Join the big boys and scam for a few hundred PLATINUM . I always talk like this on forums, in game i rarely use capital letters but I try to spell things right and use correct grammar.

It wasn't a failed run, we lost favor or they had to leave. There's a difference. Most of them actually don't ask for it back.

Um, no. Asking for a discount should not have time limits on it. Either you give a discount for your first failed run or not. It does NOT depend on *when* I ask for it, but on whether you fail a run or not. And you refused, simple as that. You failed the first run, yet you still refused a discount. Don't try and get around it with your retarded "you can't ask at the end" argument.

I said during the first run, I did NOT die between the beginning of the mission and the cutscene. However, on the SECOND run, I DID die before the cutscene. I died on both runs, however, you stated I died early in the first run, and I corrected you by saying I did NOT die early in the second run (ie: before the cutscene), but I did die after the cutscene. Learn how to read.
