Sheez, Mav. I don't see why it's such a big damn deal. Is a two-minute cinematic too long for you? Ain't got that kinda time? Then what the hell are you doing paying an RPG?

I understand the want to skip if you've seen it a bagillion times before, but come on, my friend, is it really that big of a deal?

As for the whole "democracy" thing: democracy is great, so long as you're in the majority. But just think how it would feel to be the minority. Kinda sucks, doesn't it?

Yes, I can see how the minority would get the shitty end of the stick. And many times in various things I've been in the minority. But in democracy you accept this and realize by taking the risk of using this system you risk being the minority. It may not be sound in theory but in application it's worked for centuries for America...

That, my friend, is your opinion. Not everyone wants to accept it. I, for one, don't just comply with the will of the group if they decide to do something I don't aggree with.

But let's not turn this into a political dispute. I was simply pointing out that it seems rather silly to make such a big deal out of the whole thing.

Also, you are being a jackass moreso than arguing your opinion civilly like everyone else.

How are you getting 99% out of 7/8?

Heard alot of people talked about why would someone do a mission and want to do it again. Well, they may not have done it, just did it alot of times but just failed or they need to do the mission for other reasons. Like the infusion mission, inorder to survive later on in the game, one need to infuse all parts of their armor, so they have to do it again and again. And missions like the acension missions, lots of people failed them and have to do it again and again and watch the cine again and again. they just wants to finish the mission quickly.

Not fair for the first-timers, that i agree. But souldnt the minority follow the majoriy? Seven people have to wait for that one person, that just doesnt sound right.

It's simple

8 people compose the max amount in a party of real players

We are going off of a 8 out of 8 = 100% scale (for the sake of saying)

If you really wanna get down to the math of it you can go from 8/8 = 100% and see the exact numerical value of 7/8 based apon an 8/8 = 100% scale

Here let's simplify it even further;

4 people in a party. They come to a crossroad. 2 people want to go left, 2 people want to go right. 50% of the party wants to go left, 50% of the party wants to go right... An even split right down the middle.

Dude...7/8 is not 99% of 8/8. What's an eighth of 100? 12.5. So if 8/8 = 100%, and you take away one eighth, what are we left with? 87.5.

Not 99.

Also, you are correct about 2/4 equalling 50%. But that doesn't make 3/4 = 99%. 3/4 = 75%.

And no he/she couldnt have missed us saying to skip as they moved around, killed mobs etc
Thing you're forgetting, the one or two people who want to watch the in-game movies are under no obligation to appease the rest of the group. If you don't want to bother with cinematics at all then form a guild and make membership exclusive to those who plan to skip the movies. Problem solved.

That's a rather rash assumption. I "vote" to skip cinematics all the time, but if it's not unanimous I simply reason "oh well, someone hasn't seen it yet" and just wait patiently. "Voting" to skip a vid does NOT imply that everyone who has done so shares your poor attitude and desires to boot the one who hasn't seen the vids yet.

I quoted the part of your statement that I wished to address. It was completely unnecessary to convey the point you were attempting to make and was very much out of place. There was no context to consider. The logical conclusion is that it was simply childish whining.

The truth is: you're an impatient whiney little brat and you're upset that rest of the world doesn't share your opinion.

Speaks for me as well. Just take the minute and a half break and go say hi to those people walking around known as your family, if you can't find a way to kill a whopping 90 seconds.

I mean sheesh.
