I'm thinking of when factions comes out when I make my Ritualist, is to make a Ritualist combining the offensive capabuilies of both the Ritulist and the Monk to create a totaly offensive type class... (for pve first of course) Anyone besides me think that this kinda combo will work?

Well... I don't know if it'll be that strong. The offensive capacities of the Rt aren't very good. He can fight a bit, but I like the ritualist more as a support guy in your team. I think Mo/Rt would be stronger. You could have 16 smiting then. I think monk as your first profession is better.
I still doubt if that'll work.

I don't know about that, they have some pretty good lightning spells, and AoE knockdown and blind spells...

time will tell, of course.

Ok they have some good knockdown skills, but the lightning dmg that spells do is not very much. I think that the holy dmg a smiter can do is a lot more. Lightning dmg is also very bad against Rangers. The Rt is better for support, but that's just my opinion.

Most power of ritualist spells come with how many spirts in the area. So you may want to incude some offensive spirts.

Agreed. For that, I think a Rt/Ra might be better than Rt/Mo (more spirits....)

Spirtual Smiter

Ritualist/Monk
Level: 20

Channeling Magic: 16 (12+4)
Restoration Magic: 4 (3+1)
Smiting Prayers: 12

Channeled Strike (Channeling Magic)
Banish (Smiting Prayers)
Smite (Smiting Prayers)
Bane Signet (Smiting Prayers)
Grasping was Kuurong [Elite] (Channeling Magic)
Holy Strike (Smiting Prayers)
Ancestors' Rage (Channeling Magic)
Flesh of my Flesh (Restoration Magic)

I just made this up, it probably sucks, and the reason I wanna be Ritualist Primary is cause I dont really wanna be a Monk primary and this is for PvE cause the problem I see with using spirits in PvE is cause the battles dont last long enough So I just want a Rit/Mo that can keep up witht he battles.

Note this build may change one I see what smiting skills monks get for Cantha

The build looks solid enough for PvE. Spamming skills is the best option you have in PvE, this build is perfect for spamming offensive spells.
Good build for PvE..!

P.S. I understand why you want to be Rt primary

Boon of Creation (Spawning)
Ritual Lord (Elite)(Spawning)
Pain (Communing)

You can get quite a few spirits up quickly if you cast Boon and Rit Lord first. Pain has a low cost, low cast, and long longetivity, and with Ritual Lord and Boon, you can cast often and with good benefits. Add one of these in between casting Pain every 15s or so:

Dissonace (Communing) - interupts
Disenchant (Communing)

Earthbind (Communing) - Good with knockdown specialists on team

Shelter (Communing) - Good for support
Union (Communing) - Good for support

This is only using two attributes, spawning and communing. Its easy to add another attribute based on wether you are trying to deal damage, interupt, or support/heal.

Im not sure how Boon of Creation will work with energy management, so secondary class should be something to help with energy, maybe Balthazars Spirit or Essence (plus there is no conver enchant).

Here's a Knockdown build I thought of (might be trying to do too much though):

Grasping Build

Channeling 16(?)
Spawning ?
Communion ?
(I need to play with the numbers once I have accurate effects on effects of spells I use most)

Cruel was Daoshen (direct dam, Channeling)
Grasping was Kuurong (E) (dam + knockdown, Channeling)
Earthbind (spirit - extends knockdown of Grasping, Communion)

Rupture Soul (Spawning) combo with
Destruction (spirit, Channeling)

Pain (spirit, Communion)
Boon of Creation (Spawning)
Flesh of My Flesh or Res Sig

Both Rupture and Destruction have same recharge, plus, Destruction does extra damage when it dies (tests will determine whether it's worth letting Destruction "charge" before Rupture or not - it will probably depend on whether I need to blind that warrior charging at me or not!) The main benefit of Destruction is not the extra dam, but the 20 sec. recharge!

Wandering my own road.

Ritualist/Monk

Spawning Prayers: 10+3
Smiting Prayers: 10
Channeling: 11+3+1

Attuned was Songkai {E}
Ancestor's Rage
Splinter Weapon
Nightmare Weapon
Smite Hex
Balthazar's Aura
Zealot's Fire
Resurrection Signet

PvP-intended, rather than PvE, though, as monsters scatter from the AoE's
The goal here is to pick an ally with enemies close to them and smite off of them, using Attuned was Songkai to help manage energy.

I made a defensive healing Rt a long time ago. Since we're al posting out builds here, I'll post mine too.

Build:

Skills:
1. Spirit Light
2. Shooting Memories
3. Mend body and soul
4. Binding Chains
5. Remove Hex
6. Recuperation
7. Preservation [E]
8. Flesh of my Flesh / Rez signet

Attributes:
Communing: 9+1
Restoratian Magic: 12+1+3
Spawning Power: 9+1

Weapon:
Hale (PvP) Amber Staff of Fortitude
Restoratian Magic staff

Notes:
*You can replace rez signet with Flesh of my Flesh.
*You can add an offensive spell in staid of Binding chains.
*Remember cast Binding Chains on a not called target. If a warrior is attacking you and no one attacks him it'll come in handy to shut him down.
*Flesh of my Flesh isn't the best rez but with the shaman's armor and the hale staff of fortitude it's pretty good.

This is a healing build, not one that does dmg.

Alright FPE is here and decided to test my build, and I have to say i'm quiet proud of it since i got it off without buying alot of skills...

FYI theres no runes on since I dont have any yet in game but it still works awesome

Spirtual Smiter

Ritualist/Monk
Level: 20

Channeling Magic: 12
Restoration Magic: 3
Smiting Prayers: 12

Channeled Strike(Channeling Magic)
Essence Strike (Channeling Magic)
Spirit Boon Strike (Channeling Magic)
Spirit Burn (Channeling Magic)
Destruction (Channeling Magic)
Spear Of Light (Smiting Prayers)
Word of Censure*Elite*(Smiting Prayers)
Flesh of My Flesh (Restoration Magic)
--Note-- Flesh of My Flesh can be swapped for a preferred res. --Note--

Alright this build has worked pretty well for a damage dealer, Spear of Light is AWESOME! it can hit 100 damage on an attacking foe, Word of Sensure is a good skill also so long as you dont use it to finish a foe, destructions there to help power your channeling skills... the only problem with it is that it lacks self heal....
