Hi, I've recently been looking for some good Websites that sell cheap (cheaper than most rip-of sites, I have found some cheap sites that are good but wondering if anyone knows any others) PC components (cases, psu, cpu, mobo, ram, monitors, hdd, etc) such as:
www.ebuyer.com
www.tekheads.co.uk
www.overclockers.co.uk
www.overclock.co.uk
www.microdirect.co.uk
www.dabs.com
Does anyone know any other good UK PC Component shops?
Thanks,
Josh

You've already mentioned the only one that I use, www.overclockers.co.uk Coincidentaly, it also happens to be the best PC store by a long shot. Best thing is the actual store is only a couple of minutes up the road from my house, so I don't have to bother with ordering online. Just drive up, hand over the cash and get on with my gaming.
Actually, I've also ordered a few things from here, http://www.savastore.com and have never had a problem. Everything turns up on time and nothings had to be returned.

Been buying components online for many years now, and have found www.ebuyer.co.uk to be the cheapest for most components, the most recent of my purchases an 8ms 19 inch widescreen tft, which was immaculate, and only 170 quid!
Also i have noticed overclockers have recently had mega price changes, and are now just about on par with ebuyer for most products

Yeah, eBuyer.com/eBuyer.co.uk (same thing).

Hmm that's interesting, Overclockers used to be way overpriced. Ebuyer still excellent for value.

ebuyer.com is the best by large margin imo.
avoid savastore (formerly watford electronics) like the plague! worst customer service i have evr come across! if you buy from there just pray you never need to return anything!
overclockers uk is good for some specialist stuff but a bit overpriced.
Dabs is ok not so cheap as ebuyer but still cheaper than most others. service is reasonable too

Coolercases.co.uk is run by a great member of the bit-tech forums, and for any exotic cooling is THE place to go.

Ebuyer are great for prices... but the tech support is awful... or was anyway. But i still deal with them sometimes.
Also deal with:
www.overclockers.co.uk (as you mentioned)
www.aria.co.uk
www.novatech.co.uk
and
www.kustompcs.co.uk for some different stuff, good for toys...
All have advantages depending on what you want. basically shop around all mentioned here and before to find the best price. And watch out for shipping!! Quite expensive at some places like overclockers!

As for the XP thing, I believe that was another company, Overclockers.com, not OcUK.
