IW in Tombs possible?

I have read alot of posts about IW not being possible in tombs
I have played tombs quite alot recently and I am curious why this would nto work
Most teams right now are spiker teams that certainly do not bring shatter enchantment (Iway, Obsidian Flame Spike, Ranger Spike, etc)

Most of these builds include oop and rarely are mesmers implemented that can shatter or remove enchantments

Is the reason because IW has low dmg? 6 IW mesmers chasing after one person would be a pretty scarry thing with flurry and illusion of haste. ALl the mesmers could also bring sympathetic v. to prevent warriors gaining a ton of adreneline and as a cover enchantment

If you are thinking of the Cripp effect all that would be needed would be a matyr monk or 2 would easily solve this problem.

Maybe I am missing things like mesmers naturally weak armour (traps teams/ranger team) might kill them i guess even with distortion they probably cannot live long enough

Well anyways I was just wondering what would SUPPOSIVELY happen to a IW team in tombs (me and my friends are about to try it, will report results later)

It may work in an IWAY sense, but against an organised team you are taking a group of 60AL characters in, which rely on extreme damage (and a very fragile enchant to do that damage). It would be IWAY without the resilience.

ok well beofre I start a run I think im going to need some help sith skills, we decided to get a healing monk and one prot monk to help protect us against heavy dmg and to provide us some shatter protection (with their own enchantments)

now the IWs
I was thinking of something like
Sympathetic Vissage
IW
Deadly Riposte
Flurry
Illusion of Weakness
Illusion of Haste
Clumsiness (Its great agaisnt warrios IWAY counter =D)

This build as you can see does ok one vs one against warrios (I won every 1v1 one in CA warriors with this build myself)

comments people? Im missing 2 more IW people to start up a group but the rest of my guild should be getting on soon to try it

We tried this last night in a random 8v8 HA
we had 6 mes
2 monks that kept aegies running for almost all the time

ok here were results, 3/5 IWs had ts the remaining 2 followed calls
we ran 2 55 prot monks (they didnt have strip enchant lol) the prot monks kept aegeis almost 100% of the time and followed us to use reversal/prot/and other heal spells, one of the monks had matyr to help get rid of cripple

4 of the IWs ran the build i posted above while the other used

IWAY (talk about confidence in your team =/)

Illusion of haste
Healing Sigent
I think it was Shields Up
Illusion of Weakness

As you can tell we were not very cordinated

First round we beat an Iway team basically because they could not build up any adreneline and of course they did not have any enchantment stripping etc... kept killing themselves with clumsiness/riposte, we went flawless

Next we played an e-dennial group
luckily they were note too cordinated, they ran e-surge at random times and only one of them had stripp enchantment which they of course used on a IW mesmer which got rid of SV, we managed to win this battle barely

And then we had a map jump all the way to one before HOH (forgot name)
THis is where we died we fought 2 ranger spike teams, they couldnt exactly do a ton of damage but problem was their punnishing shout, savage shot
They did not PURPOSELY interupt us but when they interupt prot spirit/IW...... Well you can imagine what happened

I also can see that an Obsidian Spike would kill this build pretty fast

well anyways Im open to comments
