I'm really hoping that Factions focuses more on the RP world as far as with the chat settings.. Basically I'd like to see an RP channel similar to that of EQ2 where you can either talk in the regular global chat or RP chat with people who like to do that stuff. I noticed that nothing but the Allied chat has been discussed so far..
Also I hope the Trade channel is deleted since people just spam global anyway with their trades and they make a Trade house where people can either just go there and submit items on some sort of bulletin board and people just buy them as they see them and money goes to your stash upon purchase.. I dunno just some though and wishful thinking .. How about you guys?

That second paragraph was something I was thining of. They should make it where "WTB, WTS, Wanting to sell, Selling, Buying," and so on, are not able to be said in local. That would help some I bet.
Anyway.. surprises, I cant think of anything. But what I'm looking forward to, is seeing how trapping would be changed. Are new skills going to be available for the older professions, anyway? (In the preview weekend) I haven't seen anything like that.

We really need an Auction House. I would love the trade channel but no one uses it. The community was so much better when the game came out, I could talk to people in local. Now you just get bombarded with people selling stuff.

More storage in Guild Hall at the very least... I mean common the Hall itself is pretty useless. Lets make it someplace to go to from time to time other then just for a meeting place for GvG. It should have some more functionality to it for the rest of the game. Not just the limited GvG battles... Personally I'm sorry I ever wasted a Celestial sigil for one to begin with.
A Panda Pet would be a nice surprise.
As would a weapons upgrade Blacksmith.
And an effective auction system would also be a surprise.

The Pendants Rings and Charms would also be a surprise, as they have not been seen since the Beta days...
And My Monk Silk Armor!!!!! PLEASE I want that back SOOO BAD!!!

And you got a happy bunch indeed... I don't mind TS at all. But when you get a PUG and they can't hear you because they don't have it. well its just not as effecient. thats why they often get kicked from parties.

One thing i hope they do, and everything else would not matter....premade pvp characters....i absolutly HATE when i have to reroll between characters that i play often..i need a place to store my setups...attribs/skills/armor/runes/weapons...the whole thing, then all i have to do is delete the old set and load up my saved set. Everything else would NOT matter as long as this was done....pvp players that dont have pve chars up to pvp standards have to reroll often and that gets really annoying.

Though the map may be "smaller" I think there may be more SF type areas (undercity anybody?) which don't appear on the map.

Same thing with the whole trade house, seems like everyone including myself would love to see one, the trade channel chat needs to go.. I say we petition it to Anet so they at least give us one of our wishes

Auction houses would be great. I hate going into large towns and having to turn off my local chat. I usually play in international but that has been getting bad lately too.
I personally don't need more storage especially with 2 new character slots, but it would be nice to have so I don't have to wait for my packrat wife to move her stuff around.
I have zero interest in VOIP, however. I really do not have any desire to have to listen to a bunch of teenagers that think that the more foul language they use the cooler they are. At least with the way things are now a guild can set standards and enforce them.
