Thanks for the replies, so does this mean I can go to Ember or wherever there is a skill trainer with my skill points and start buying them all? Or can they only be unlocked with a new PvE character?

this is a load of crap. Best Buy said that the entire package will be shipped to me. what sense does it make to send me the preview key after the friggin game has been released.

everyone plese remember...
theres a diffrence between the pre order boxes, depending on where in the world you are...
we UK folks dont get the blasted friend-keys to let a friend trial GW:P at all....be they in a retail box side or an online order side...which was one of the main reasons i wanted to snag a pre order box in the first place....
oh, and to the deleating of char....are you sure they will be deled, and not just whiped of skills/items/cash ect and reset to lvl 1 so that you can keep the names?
(hopeing its that way....i can live with not having any items, armours ect that i had as a spankey lvl2o in the test, but i would hate to loose a name i spent a while getting together cause the whole thing got cleaned out lol)

since this is a PVE event and you are locked out of PVP and the character will be rolled back erasing your runes and upgrades and you cant transfer or store them............. Quote:

The 12v12 Alliance battles. It's mentioned that it is 3 squads of 4....
How are the parties formed? Does one player accept the 11 other players, and they're sorted based on character order. Or do you put together your squad of 4 players (similar to Team Arena), and you're matched with another two squads randomly?
I can see pros and cons for both. In fact, I'd like to see both. But if it is the latter, I think a lot of the worry about "l33t PvP" guilds winning everything is misplaced. After all. YOU could be fighting alongside those guilds.

If u find an armor during PVE in the preview event, u identify it and find a ritualist rune for example (or a new weapon upgrade, or capping a new elite), ur account will have it unlocked from that moment on.

This sounds great, and I've got a PvP slot I don't mind making into a PvE char for a weekend. I gave away my invites to friends and random passers-by at another forum, so I'll be there to help them out.

um, i think they said you can make a pvp char in the event, incase you just breeze thru the PvE side and got bored....
as to unlocks...those who are usinf another account,(not their main) will still retain their unlocked stuff in pvp side, so if i wanted to, i could (assuming they become useable on the day of the event) use last months PvP only event account and play pvp side on that....
and when the next events come out, again, and again ect....
(but then..i only like pvp as the snowball arena Bring it Back, Anet i love that)
