Favor of Gods: Out of balance!

No, what we are saying is that the reward should be something differend, related only to pvp play, and that every game level should be available for every player, not depending on how teams play. There are people who dont care about who has the so called Favor of the Gods, but they do want to play these levels! So my suggestion was to make these levels available for everyone independent from HoH gaming results, and make a differend HoH only reward for those who like to play in teams.

The discussion has showed a differend problem for HoH: the problems Europeans have with some languages, and probably the unwillingness of a number of players to join teams with players of some countries. But thats actually a very differend discussion.

There are english speakers in Europe, the english get stuffed there :P

now here's the conundrum. I don't play PvP but it seems that having a reward that benefits a large portion of the PvE population is cool, because then Hall of Heroes really does mean that you're fighting for the benefit of your people. They just need a better way to divide the people.

or maybe they don't. Maybe if we are in a Europe server and we want this to change we should be promoting more PvP in our servers...

As people as mention on previous posts American and Korean get the favors of the gods and the European doesn't. I play on the European server and I hardly ever get a chance to even go into the underworld opr fissue of woe. The only time I saw europe was in favor was early / mid day and that is the time where everyone is at work or students is at school or college. I only saw that briefly because I was ill that day and I can't go to work. Tonight I was at temple of the ages and europe almost had the favor of god, after the message say "europe need to win one more time to keep the favor of god" then everyone was so hyped up in that district then next moment "America kept the favor of god". Everyone on there was shock and annoyed because europe has lost the match in hoh. IMO europe need to have more chance accessing the underworld, for the people has completed all mission and bonus and quest is bored of the game and thinking of quitting because they got fed up of the boredomness and not being able to get into the 2 area that needs the favor of gods on their side. And yes swicthing on to american server is an option as someone has said it puts more bandwidth on to those server and then whats left on the europe server? also if your friend is insist of staying on the europe server and your just on your own on american server isn't that just feel lonely sometime while you and your other friend is having fun on europe server and your in amercian server on your own. But at the end of the day europe has hardly kept favor of the god and this needs to be looked at and come up a solution for this unbalance of the accessing to the 2 areas.

As a beta tester from the UK, my account DEFAULTED to america when I installed it. I never picked to play in the US.
I then made friends there, so it's not so great to change.
When I realised that my account was in the US, I did change it to Europe but as many people here have said - the European districts are heavily non-English speaking.
Do I have a personal issue with that? Not really until you get to the level of gameplay where you need to compete for HoH. At that level you really need to all be on teamspeak and work as a team. - Teamspeak when 75% of the team can't speak english is pointless.
I have since gone back to the US servers and back to the EU servers. So I am almost of of region moves. I now need to think hard about where my account will stay forever.
Right now the US servers are looking like the best choice for language and there are always lots of people online during UK hours.

As for brash American's like you, take a geography lesson, Canada is as much a part of America as the USA and it's called North America, fewer population doesn't mean inferior, just like quantity has never equaled quality.

GW needs change to this idea and quickly, it's almost offensively wrong to promote world uprisings in a game which wars have been started over far less.

The items in the "Fissure" or "Underworld" don't make you stronger they just make you look different. A Chaos Axe is no better than a Gimp Axe if they both have the same stats. If you care that the Gimp Axe looks like a rubber fish, well are you trying to be vain or trying to be strong? Make up your mind people.

The drop rates down there per enemy killed is higher, sure they are VERY hard L28 enemies. In the time that a group of 8 players can kill one or two groups of Temple mobs a solo smart character can kill 30 Flesh Golems (and numerous other areas like that than can also be farmed that haven't been spammed on the forums).

Is it fun down there? Sometimes with the right group.
Is it a challenge down there? Always.
Does it make your character LEEEEeeeeTT@#$@#LELT [email protected]$LEST EVER? Not unless your opponents stop to look at your armor/weapon during a PvP battle.

Well, as long as they tie access to certain areas to who holds the Hall of Heroes, it makes sense to join whichever world holds the Hall of Heroes most often. Really, for anyone who can speak English, it makes sense for them to join the American world, regardless of where they are. There are real advantages to doing so. Hopefully, this will eventually stress out the American data center and someone at ArenaNet will finally realize what a stupid idea tying actual advantages to being in one world or another actually is.

If we wanna avoid nationalism why dont we just bloody split the zones up into either Timezone areas, or -hemispheres-. Oooh I live in the west hemisphere! Nu uh I'm better, I live in the eastern hemisphere! Better then AMERICA SUCKS, NU UH KOREA SUCKS. NO WAY EUROPE IS BETTER! Blah blah blah.
