ok I tried making special steel ingots (deldrimor steel ingots) from a special crafter yet I have yet to find a use for them as I cant craft armor with them. What are they for then?

I think they are for the special 15K armor later on, not too sure though as I haven't gotten there yet to see. Speculation for me anyway, anyone able to confirm this?

Yes, the Deldrimor steel ingots are for the 15k per piece armor.
