R/mo Mino/Ettin Farm Build

hmm any good drops for minos or ettins? or should i stick with my FoW forest farming. Ettins drop runes (alot of crapy, but evry 3 runs i get a SUP, which can sell for alot (like Sup absorbtion, Sup vigor, and even Sup monk is not bad)

did i mention 1 run takes about 10-15 min?

How can you possible manage energy with this build? zealous since you'll be facing multiple ettins. switch to a non-zealous when jsut fighting 1 etting

PvE solo farming build. i can make this work against the minos in Elona, the trolls outside Droks, i havent tried but i think it should work with the rune dropping ettins too.


i Use thee atributes, but you can alter them as you like as long as you have at least 13 Expertise, wich makes barrage cost 2 energy.

Expertise 10 + 1 + 3
Marks 11 +1
Healing Prayers 10 +1(if you want, not really needed)

Equipment

A zealous max damage bow is essential to manage energy, the second mod doesnt really matter, A bow grip of enchanting may help a bit.
full droks sruids armor, or its 15k counterpart.


This build as stated above is used to farm the minos in elona reach and the mountain trolls near droks.
The objective is to keep the enemies from hiting you and heal whatever damage they manage to deal with Live Vicariously and Vigorous Spirit.
Keeping a permanent 75% chance to evade/block the enemys attacks is what you want. this is done by running this circle indefently:

Serpent's Quickness quickly followed by Whirling Defense , this makes Whirling Defense come back faster, then make sure you pack your enemies close to each other, when Whirling Defenseis flashing, Throw Dirt the pack of enemies, if you manage to blind all of them, youll be quite relaxed. When you see that the bllindness has worn off, cast Lightning Reflexes.
When Lightning Reflexes begins flashing, Serpent's Quickness and Whirling Defense should be reaqdy to cast again.
This is why a high stat in expertise is needed, to maximize the time of te stances.
Of course you will have to be under the both healing enchantments ALL the time, and in my build, casting healing breeze whenever you feel HP is dropping too fast. And just keep spamming Barrage

Warning : Allways make sure you have a target, i have died some times cause my primary target died and i was spamming barrages to no one
Be careful with the Avicara before reaching the troll cave, never aggro them, if needed just teleport back to droks and they will spawn in a different place.



Credit: i have seen similar builds, so i would say this is a community build Whirling Defense won't work here because it causes you to "block" attacks. Iressistebel Blow knocks you down when you "block" their attack whereas Lightning Reflexes causes you to "evade". Big difference.

When fighting against ettins, you just need the initial stance, if done correctly, you should get full health back everytime you barrage without any defense. No offense, but the video shows a build that's extremely innefective compared to warrior or monk builds. 2 minutes per mob of about 6 ettins doesnt seem like a successful build to me. However, you've given a decent guide to a build that helps people with only ranger characters.
