Warrior help please

i know i am going to get flamed for this... but i have to post it....

I have read almost every thread here... i have studied every build and i am in the same damn spot... i am trying to make a good warrior... here is where i am stuck...

sword vs axe? i can't figure out which is the way to go for a good damage output... i will be doing pve (farming when i get high enough) and gvg....

second class: I was told monk, but then i have been reading going war/mo is basically lowering the offensive potential of the warrior. Then i was thought War/Me but then i was told it isnt good gvg... then i thought war/el and i was told it was mediocre at both... >_<

Can someone help me out and not flame me for being new?

Sword vs Axe?

Well for PvP you should probably use axes (eviscerate + executioners chain) or hammer (knockdowns), early in PvE you'll probably use sword since you get more starting sword skills IIRC. For PvE farming... Well I use axe mostly but there's plenty of ways to farm with both.


About your secondary: no secondary lowers your offensive potential.... with ele secondary you can use any of the conjures with an elemental weapon. Anyway after you ascend you'll be able to switch your secondary without any penalties so don't worry about that too much :P I went with W/Monk my first time through the game, don't stay away from the class combo just because of steriotyping (sp?) W/Monk is probably the best combo for farming as well (in most cases).

so when i am a higher level i can switch between the secondaries without any problems? i dont know how i missed that lol... thanks for responding ^_^
