couple of ?'s

I have played till lvl 8 with a ranger/monk, no specific build just messing around ( was my first character), i played some pvp and some more pve with different classes, and i miss ranger. I am gonna start over, and i think i will be a bm...Should i go /necro and do some bloode magic or what? i love the idea of having a pet and i already have some stuff unlocked from my pvp characters. And if i dont be a bm i want to be a build that has skills that u get really early in the game that can be really affective, not something like that has skills that are near the end of the game. Thanks for your help! (tried search and didnt work XD)
Pick Me
I've tried to be a bm, with a monk. I figured curing my pet, protecting hit from death as well as myself would be great. I find however, that a true bm will use just about all of his/her skill bar with beast skills, so healing or protection, or any other skill is unnecessary and useless. So, you can get some nice skills with a necro, but for helping with direct damage for your pet or yourself early, you can try warrior or monk. Elementalists have okay starting damage, but without energy storage, you don't have enough energy to truly make it useful. Necros are okay, but truly lack damage until you get Spiteful Spirit (can be obtained in mid-late game). Mesmers have conjure phantasm in pre-seering for free, so you can also try that.
Hope this helps.

It'd be intresting to try out some necro blood buffs on your pet. Can't name specific skills cause Necro is the class I've had least exp with. But you might be able to slide that into your BM build.
*edit* Nvm, just read the skill descriptions...what I had in mind won't work.

Wrath Of Dragons
stay with monk and use smiting, such as shield of judgement and balthazars aura on your pet.
Cyan The Archer
Remember that you will be able to change your secondary profession endless later in the game(The desert).
