Is chest running in FoW really worth it? I have only done this on four chests. On my third chest I found a Gold Req.8 Shadow Blade, which I made 40k off. The other three were just crapy caster items. Should I continue running chests or was I just lucky that I got good drop?

in short run it is profitable if u loot something good, but after my 50 fow chest runs, i found it is non-profitable, shiverpeak chest run is much better since the keys are cheaper and the drops are lower rq (around 8-10)

The chest in Shiverpeaks can me nice.
Maybe that's way Droks never has any keys or salvage or id kits in
stock. And same with a couple other towns out there.

merchants don't sell them doesn't mean they are out of stock, I have never seen people forming a shiverpeak chest run group. You can buy infinite keys in citadel . In fact, I could loot a double number of gold items from shiverpeak chests than from fissure in a certain time.

I am still not sure about it being profitable or not. Typically buy 3 keys when i go into FoW (not going for a chestrun, but for clear as much as possible).

Only once did i have a drop that was worth more then then the value the merchant would give for it. But I sold that shield for 130k (-2 while enchant/-2 while in stance req9 shadow shield)
