Suspended

so i just got my account suspended for 24 hours cause of "an inappropriate name." and i was wondering if they just delete your character. if they do im gonna be pissed, i had a razorstone and victos shield on it.

No, you'll just have to rename the char when your suspension is up. Rename it to something nice, if you get suspended enough times you get your account banned.

Add a F4 to it :P

lol, one of my characters names is Alt Tab. It would have been Alt F4 but you cant use numbers. and so whos lying? sno or loomy?

I also had a similar problem and I was givin the option to change my name. I think it depends how far along you are. I have had a couple of guildies lose their characters in all because they were low levels or weren't very far in the game.

I have played with a guy by this name before, its taken.

I wish they would check names in other languages too, I know people with names with diseases in them, and because they're all Dutch they're 'allowed'. I really hate those kind of peoples.

True. I saw lots of names like this too. Also saw names like Adolf Hitler and stuff...

my friends last name is hitler so in away if they banned that it could be taken as a offence so that is probly y ^_^

Some of the disallowed names are nothing short of bizzare-Figaro being the one that springs to mind.

There is even (probably a one-member guild) a dutch guild named [kut]

I can use "Allah Yahweh God" as a character name but anything with "Jesus" in it gets blocked. Guess they care enough not to offend non-Christians, but could care less about aetheists. Just saying it doesn't make sense to me, but I could care less either way.

all you have to do is send a screen shot and blast an e-mail to support if you find there name offensive (and tell them why).

I agree screenshot and send it to A.net for a hefty suspension which adds on every offense, I belive 188 hours suspension happended.
