well i bought a unid eternal shield from a guy (req 10) max
and he said well for 20k and you will get it and
i say yeah of course...

trade

then i id it +30hp -5dmg 19%chance
so he asked me what the stats were
and i told him.
then hell broke loose
he said that he regret the trade
and want his shield back and
i get even 25k back
i went like wtf NO
then he said:

I KNOW GAILE GREY AND I GOT 15k ARMOR F*CK YOU GIVE MY SHIELD
BACK CUS ITS OBIOUSLY WORTH MORE!!!

i got fissure.. then i put him on *ignore*
could i possibly be the scammer here?
what do you think?
can i sleep at night?

just wanted to point out that he was a W/Mo

i removed him from ignore list and next time he logged in it
went like 5 min then i get this pm...

Buying and selling unid'd is obviously a crap shoot (unless you are one of those who can figure out what it is mathematically), if you do so, and loose out some how..it is entirely your fault for taking that chance, so in my opinion no one is the scammer in this situation...the other guy is just an idiot, and a sore looser/cry baby/worst type of player. I think you can sleep with a good conscience tonight =P

However, I like that he offered 25k. I am sure that extra 5k made you pause and consider the several hundred thousand gold item a worthy trade.

if i buy unid stuff and the trader wants to know what i got from it, i will never give them the 'real mods' due to idiots like the aforementioned above. I usually just say a small health mod or crippled or some such and then ignore the smug tells from said trader .. usually saves more hassle.

He thinks that intimidation will just make you give it back

he can't do nothing but shout at you.
Unless Gaile talks to you in purple text saying, hey I know... (and I don't believe him for a sec nor even if he did, and I don't think Gaile would abuse her power like that.)

If he keeps it up, report him to anet for harassment.

I also bought a req 10 gold eternal shield for 6k gold and 6 Candy Canes during the christmas event. I iden it and the mods were +39hp enchant -2 dmg whcih is worth more than the bought price and then the trader gal wants to buy the shield back for 20k lol.

Selling and buying unid is risky, sometime you get lucky and get perfect/near perfect mods, other time, you get crappy items. This guy is just angry that he screwed himself with 25k when that shield is worth at least 100k+ now.

You can sleep tight, in fact, if you took a screen shot of that, you can report him to A-Net for verbal abuse!

Don't worry, the worst this idiot can do is ban himself if he took that screenshot to A-Net. The trade log would showed that both you and him agree on a fair trade and there is no such rules to trade things back to the original owner.

Btw.. as far as I know, using the threat that you know someone from Anet or NCsoft to manipulate someone in game is a very serious offence. Next time he starts having a go and refers to Gaile Grey, take an SS and he will be banned for sure.
