Aidan, nodded, not taking his eyes off of the heavily fortified camp below. "We did," he said. "With King Jarvis Ironhammer. But these dwarves no longer show fealty to their king."
Hmmm...

He doesnt know what Fealty means?

Fealty IS a word...It means showing fidelity to royality like a king.

What they are taalking about is the Stone Summit - which have went against their dwarven king's orders and split off and are attacking humans.

Its pretty sad that one you noticed this, out of all the people who posted here. I guess the OP could've given us the answer, but meh.

Sorry, I just thought it was obvious.

Actually, I think they should really revise their lore. According to www.guildwars.com, the founder of the White Mantle is called Saul Botlof...
There are other glaring mistakes I've also noticed.

Proofreading? I'm sure you meant to type "needs" instead of "need".

In most non-North American English dialects an organization such as a company is treated as plural.

Hope that doesn't make me sad but my /age emote begs to differ.

It's too bad you don't really see that much of the lore from the instruction manual reflected back in the game or storyline. Not explicitely anyway.

So that proves it. There will be a way to change your characters name later...

Seriously, the names in the lore are all wrong. The tombs of Drascir = The tombs of the Primeval Kings in the lore...which is rather odd since Drascir is north of the great wall and TotPK is in the desert...

I was wondering that myself. Appearently the little bookie that came with the game box has story stuff in it.

So Sagius, if this thread has no point, ask yourself why you're posting in here? Do you regularly post in meaningless threads? Or are you just a meaningless person?

I was using Anet as a plural. Last time I checked, there are more than one person working on Guild Wars.

In all seriousness though, they're paid to design a game, not to design a flawless literary masterpiece. Lore is cheap, but a decent engine with easy expansion (ahem, new skills) is what I'm here for.

You mean like "Microsoft need to patch Windows XP." or, "Ford need to recall the Pinto."?

I think the point was if the OP was going to be so nit picky about something so silly that he should proofread more carefully.
