what is the point of closeing threds do mods do it and y ? i need to read the sticky brand new

Sometimes people start subjects that are already covered, or are not directly related to the game.
Incredibly bad grammar of the topicstarter is a legit reason to close too.
Sometimes badly formulated questions can start flamewars. That is also a good reason to lock.
