henchies dumb and dumber--heres for better ones

Ok, so I don't always like to play with other people. I get tired of quitters and extremely bad sportsmen who cannot make allowances for other peoples shortcomings. I'm not entirely antisocial I usually play with one other person. I have done PvP but think it's boring and I have 6 assended characters so I have played the game quite a bit. Hence we do use the henchies. And I was wondering why they are such idiots. The healers let us die before any one else and then they all run around in circles. Why can I not customize their skills and why do they not get to carry 8 skills, and why can I not tell them to stay. And the henchies at the tombs are even dumber than Devona and her crew. It would be an improvement to let Devona and her crew in there. The ones there are beyond useless. At least with Devona and her crew I know what I'm getting. Orion is pretty useless now fire storm scatters mobs. At least take fire storm away from him and give him something else. I know they want us to play with others, but if were going to have henchies why not make them worth while and not a stopgap. Now, I'm not saying everyone should have to customize the henchies everytime they use one but why can't the option be available to those of us who would like to use it. And if you can see your way clear to make the mobs smarter at least make the henchies as smart as the mobs. Perhaps we could have henchie builds on our account saved for each henchie and the group uses the leaders builds. It could be linier so that say Orion at level 10 has fire storm but at level 20 has meteor shower. Ok, so here's to better henchies and better play.

The henchies are quite smart... considering their AI and stuff. Ive used them quite a bit and they have managed to remain alive EVEN when im running my non healer smiter-illusion monk. You do have however to be more careful. As well as keep the healer alive more. It helps to bring some healing for the healer... heh. Id love to customize their skills among a few sets though.

The idea and suggestion for "better henchies" has come up time and time again, it's beyond redundant really. We've got requests for better AI, ability to customize henchies, ability for better henchmen controls, etc. A search should yield lots of results, if search is down I'll try and update the Index thread if it isn't already.
