Shadow Blade Invasion

Perfect shadow blades with 15^50 are flooding the market.

In my opinion, their worth will be less than long swords in some time.

Well, I never liked the style because they look like black plastic swords.

What do you think about?

Do you really like the style? Or are you buying them because they got re-added and you want to be one of the first owners?

I will never own one. Tell me your opinion.

It's mainly because it's something new and different. I'll never buy one with the price being the way it is now, but honestly I do like the skin so eventually I wouldn't mind having one when the price drops to something within my range.

As stated in a thread about armor. My first concern is performance, next comes appearance.

I like the style.

I would have liked it to be longer though.

Not buying, since Im content with the other sword styles atm.

I like the skin quite a bit, but I already have a fine representative in Victo's Blade. I have all other sword bases covered at the moment for whatever situation I might need so don't feel compelled to get one. I thnk I still might need a zealous sword, if so I will check out any skins I like and if they are reasonable. If not, I will just go to droks and get one crafted and throw on he mods myself.

When people want economical they buy the droks sword. The sword is popular now so people are looking for it, but the price won't ever touch a perfect fellblade or chaos axe. Market just seems flooded because it is new so you notice when people are selling them more.

For me I was lucky and got myself 2 shadowblades that were actually useful in a single run.

Other than that I usually sell a shadowblade for 1-2k over merchant price.

*Edit* Shadowblades look great for me, much better than fellblades. On par with the Longsword

My current Mo/Wa is weilding a Shadow Blade but only for the fact that it was better then my Fell Blade. In all honesty I don't care for the style that much and I thought by haveing one it would some how be better but it's not. I prefer the nice Fell Blade, has anyone stoped to look at it. The obsidion blade has a wonderufl shine and when your outside you can see the shadows/reflection of trees on it. Also it's a long curved weapon much like the blade of Squall's Revolver from FF8. Personly when I find a good Fell blade for him I'll sell the Shadow Blade.

Where do they drop and are all 15>50?

From what I have read Shadow weapons can only be found in UW=Under World. But I have found a Shadow Bow left behied by someone I did a FA Sorrow run with. The item had been dropped from a chest. No they are not all 15^50 my Mo/Wa currenly has one that has +13%(when hex) which I find more usefull then when my health is above 50%.

Shadow Blades are dropped in the Fissure of Woe, NOT Underworld. and no they are not all 15>50.

Personally i think that the shadow blade should have been made a little bigger. it looks too small on my character, compared to seeing it on the shadow warriors in fissure and how much bigger it looks on them. That and for looks I think the wingblade is the nicest Besides, i have a shadow blade that dropped for me free about a month and a half before these came out that has good stats on it. i can get the same one thats req 9 for around 15-20k right now. like im gonna spend 100k on one. pfft Go victos !

I don't think i'm ever going to own one either. All my other crap is fine.

well if you want one but dont want for the looks but dont want to pay the big price right now you got 2 choices:

1) wait for it to go down
or
2) buy a victos blade

personally im not gonna use it but i like the look so i got the victo's.

I found one req 10, 15 in stance in my first run right after i saw they have been around (about 2-3 days after they have been introduced). Since then it seems that the rare item farmer bandwagon has hit fow.
I tried to sell it, asked around 50k. Got a 75k ingame offer, but since i didn't have a stance sword, I decided to keep it.

I sold one blade at 2k, purple, req 8, 11^50. Anyway, I don't know what all the fuss is about. Everything that is labeled "Shadow" (bow, staff and now sword) is or will be very common due to the heavy FoW farming going on.

So there is no reason to spend your money on these sword.

I like the style but I got no use for it since I don't have any warriors. But I might help my friend get it if he wants it once it's goes down.

Agreed....Wingblades are > Shadowblades anyday.

I'll stick with my Hand Axe. At least they haven't made a green or collector's item that looks like it (yet)...

Looks nice on female warriors, but my male warrior looks like wielding a toy sword. Flamberge ftw

Yup I know what you mean, I with it was logner and abit bigger.
Compairing it to a Fellblade makes it looks tiny.

Looks nice, I prefer other skins. Victo's Blade has the same look so I'll join the crowds of masses that way if I feel like it.
