Or is the chests turing in to purple drops. I recently got to Fow, got some key drops, opened some chests only purple. But one day I found a shard( of a normal loot) and sold it for 5 platinum. So I said to my self why not spend all those money on keys and try chest run, ONLY PURPLE. So I wasted 5 platinum on worthless stuff and since im a porr man that's much money.
Summary( For the REALLY lazy ones :P )
It is almost only purple drops now a days.

I usually get halfway decent things from chests, but honestly ... you should really only bother with the ones with the chance of dropping a rare-skinned item, since that's the only way you're going to "break even" or even come out ahead, by finding (like I found the other day!) a nice 15>50 req 8 storm bow. My problem is always that I like the really awesome finds I get, and don't want to sell them

You can always hope somebody else on your team will want it. A guildie of mine sold a req 13 gold cruel shadow blade of pruning (with no other dmg mod), to a wammo on the team for a shard.

No item is too good to keep for me...Espically if I've just spent about 50k on keys and just got a 15^50 chaos axe or storm bow...ill just have to sell it
