Henchies are downright reliable in most situations anyway. But yes, Dunes is fairly easy. Plenty of wide, open space, and after three minutes or so of forgotten in the "Defend the Ghostly Hero" bit, they virtually stop coming.

Dunes is by far the easiest of the ascension missions. However, I think the Dunes Bonus is very challenging. I'll be impressed if you can do the bonus with henchies. If you succeed, please give me some pointers.

this mission is like uber easy. when u get to part when u ahve to protect ghost u dont need to do anything u just need to.......(im not telling u lol)

cool, good job on doing dunes at level 5 ^_^... never once failed that mission, they should make assault on hero harder. Like have 4 rangers surround him spamming savage shot everytime he tries to use his resource of claimy, and put a few gales on these rangers for good measure.

A N/R with a bow and a pet can run it using SS and bow attacks. One was trying to run me and we died at 3 minutes countdown

Dunes is very easy, I did it with henchies at lvl7, but you beat me at lvl 5!
