Hiya Everybody!
On Saturday, April 8, The Boat Crew of LA Int 1 will be hosting a massive Easter Egg Hunt. "But there are no eggs in Guild Wars. How can we look for something that doesn't exist?", you might be thinking. Simple. The members of The Boat Crew will be acting as the Easter Eggs.
Here's how it'll work:
Starting at 10:00 pm GMT on April 8, Boat Crew members will start hiding in different outposts all over Tyria.
The Objective of this Hunt is simple. Find the members of [boat]. When you find a member you will be given an item customized by that member. At the end of the Hunt (11:00pm GMT) everyone who has collected an item customized by every hidden member of [boat] will meet in Lion's Arch International District 1 to trade in those items for their prize.
(The number of participating [boat] members will be given in a few days so you know how many of us to look for.)
To sum it up: April 8, 10:00pm GMT, Boat Crew members in outposts all over Tyria, find all the [boat] members, meet in LA Int 1 and get a prize.

I believe we will be hidden in the international districts primarily, but you never know. Afterall, there needs to be some challenge if we're going to be giving out a bunch of free stuff!

Avoid Drok's Intl Dist 1. As most us know, it has recently been overrun by asian farmers/farm bots, and using Local chat is nigh impossible.

Sounds like a fun time! my guildies and I did something similar - but not nearly as challenging over the Halloween weekend. We had 4 or 5 of us hiding in various places in LA & were giving away Halloween items for anyone who found us and whispered "Trick or Treat" Very few people looked on the boat!

At 9:45pm GMT there will be a meeting in LA Int 1 where I will explain the rules to everyone. The event will start at 10:00pm GMT like stated before. I will remain in LA Int 1 through-out the event to answer any questions you have concerning the rules. At 10:30pm GMT I will start giving out clues to the whereabouts of [boat] members. At the end of the event, 11:00pm GMT, there will be a meeting in LA Int 1 to give out the prizes.
Even if you don't get items from every [boat] member there is still a chance you will get a prize.

But you've got to ask yourself: how repetitive can the game be if we're left to play Hide'n'Seek? ArenaNet, consider this kind of things as a sign of PvE's downfall...

Contrary to my last post:
A slight problem has come up with the Egg Hunt being on Saturday.
If it is possible and no one has any objections it may be moved to Sunday. It would be at the same time and work the exact same way, just a day later.
I'd like to hear everyones thoughts on this. If a lot of people object than it will still be on Saturday I will just not be able to attend.
